It's a hanging mass problem where the block ontop of the surface is 3.2kg, and the hanging mass is 1.5kg
The coefficient of kinetic friction between the 3.2kg block and the surface is 0.30
You need to calculate acceleration
This is my bad drawing of the problem /lcRi3Ho |

acceleration is measured in m/s/s (or m/s^2)
so ur wrong by a landslide |

@Ice
you know when u write ur fnet statements
Fnet = ma
to get the right answer u had to do Fnet = -ma for the hanging mass |

i think it was a pully
the acceleration is ~1.7

oh lol I didn't look at the picture so :P but technically Fnet=ma=mg=(-9.8m/s^2)x(Mass) For pulleys, it will be easy to tell if + or - depending on direction of accelration |
