II. TECOM Chain of Command
The Chain of command shows you the positions in TECOM, it tells you what each duties are. When you have a question, follow your chain of command to help answer it. Start at the bottom and work your way up the Chain of Command. Remember to always respect people that are higher than you in the CoC.
[CMC] Commandant of the Marine Corps Rank(s) Held: CMC/O10 The CMC is the highest ranking officer in the USMC. He oversees TECOM.
[DEPTGEN] Department General Rank(s) Held: O9 or O10 The Department General is basically the CO above the CO. He supervises every Rank(s): E4 - E5 DS are those in school to become a Drill Instructor. __________________________________________________________________________
III: Drill and Ceremony
*Remember to NEVER break rank while in formation. This means never go between a formation, ALWAYS go around it!*
Drill and Ceremony is a major thing here at the USMC. Here is what you need to know about drill.
Drill (Stationary): Drilling is a sequence of faces (Turns) that are called by the Commanding Instructor.
Right Face: This command means you turn 90 degrees to your right.
Left Face: This Command means you turn 90 degrees to your left.
About Face: This command means you turn 180 degrees spinning to the right.
Half Right Face: This command means you turn 45 degrees to your right.
Half Left Face: This command means you turn 45 degrees to your left.
Attention: Attention means you stop talking and face your Commanding Instructor.
At Ease: At ease means you place your hands behind your back and face your Commanding Instructor.
Dress right Dress: This means put your right arm up and get your spacing between others.
Ready Front: On this command you drop out of “dress right dress” and look forward.
Present Arms: Present Arms means you salute.
Order Arms: This command means drop your salute.
Fall in: Fall in means you find a parade square, stand on it and wait for directions. Shoulder to Shoulder (STS): This means stand shoulder to shoulder in a line.
Single File Line (SFL): SFL means get in a line behind one another.
Drill (Marching): A sequence of marching commanded presented by the Instructor.
(Unit Size)Forward March: This means march forward.
(Unit Size)Halt: This Commands STOP!
Column Left March: This means to turn left and stay one behind another.
Column Right March: On this command you turn right and stay one behind another.
Left Flank March: This means all turn left at once and continue marching Shoulder to Shoulder.
Right Flank March: This means all turn right at once and continue marching Shoulder to Shoulder.
Double Time March: This means that all must start running but stay in formation.
From the front to the Rear march: This command means do an About Face and continue marching in that direction.
Now each command has a Preparatory command and an executive command. For example: Right Face! - ''Right'' would be the preparatory command meaning that the men in formation must be ready to execute it but during the preparatory command they must not hesitate they must wait until the executive command is given which is ''Face!'' or in a marching situation, for example: Forward March! - Forward is the preparatory command and March is the command of execution which means they can now march forward. Last example: Present Arms! Present is the preparatory command and Arms is the command of execution. __________________________________________________________________________
IV. Education
Education is a major thing in the USMC, here in TECOM we train some of the most elite fighters in the world. It is TECOM's job to educate Marines in everything they need to know to be the best branch and fighting force of the World. We are TECOM we make Marines! Today's students, tomorrow's leaders! OORAH!

V. Recruit Training
Recruit Training, or RT, is the training that teaches Recruits the basics of the USMC. In RT, we convert new recruits into mature and battle-ready Marines. United States Marine Corps Recruit Training (commonly known as "boot camp") program of initial training that each recruit must successfully complete in order to serve in the United States Marine Corps. All enlisted individuals entering the Marine Corps, regardless of eventual active or reserve duty status, will undergo recruit training.

VI. School of Infantry
The School of Infantry, or SOI, is the training that gives new Marines the skills to appropriately engage an enemy in combat. The School of Infantry (SOI) is the second stage of initial military training for enlisted United States Marines after Recruit Training. The School of Infantry's training mission ensures "Every Marine is, first and foremost, a Rifleman". At SOI, Marines with the Military Occupational Specialty of infantry (0300 occupational field) are trained at the Infantry Training Battalion (ITB). SOI marks a transition in the professional training of entry-level students from basically trained Marines to combat-ready Marines.

Marine Combat Training in which entry-level non-infantry Marines are taught the common skills needed in combat. Marines learn the basics of combat marksmanship, convoy operations, combat formations, fireteam assaults, patrolling, MOUT, and more. Training also includes combat conditioning by running an obstacle course, conducting marches and physical training. Upon completion of Marine Combat Training, the Marine is to have gained the knowledge and ability to operate in a combat environment as a basic rifleman and to perform his or her primary duties under fire.
