For those of you who don't know what StackExchange is, it's a Q&A site that comes with post formatting that you miss here. This entails being able to use code tags when you ask/answer scripting questions, being able to embed/link images (and without risk of being banned for offsite links even though the image is appropriate), format text, etc. The site also has a reputation system fueled by voting questions, answers, and comments up/down which help filter out bad posts. The moderation for StackExchange sites is largely handled by the community, so you'll get faster response times for spam/etc.
There have been countless posts about the ROBLOX forums needing an upgrade -- if the ROBLOX StackExchange proposal goes through, we'll get that upgrade for the Q&A forums, including Scripters. All that's left is to meet the requirements for the proposal to unlock the next stage where we can actually start using it. You can find the proposal here: http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/93294/roblox
Right now, all we need to move onto the next stage is 65 people who have 200+ rep on any StackExchange site (besides Area 51). If you have a StackExchange account that meets that requirement already, I encourage you to commit to the proposal. If you don't, I strongly encourage you to create an account if you don't have one already and get 200+ rep (easiest places to get are probably StackOverflow (programming) questions with the Lua tag and Arqade (video game) questions. Also keep in mind that if you get 200 rep on Area 51, even though it won't meet the 200+ rep requirement for the proposal, it automatically gives to 100 extra rep on all other StackExchange sites (gets you halfway to the goal).
