【INTRODUCTION】
After just one term in Office, myself and Rolerain have made tremendous progress within the City. We are both experienced leaders with a clear image. That -- is getting Norfolk back on it's feet. We have seen first hand the struggles of our departments, being underdeveloped, and uncared for. However, we have a solid plan to give aid to all of our departments. Over the past four months, Rolerain and myself have served faithfully as Councilmen. We have listened to your needs, and fixed many problems. However there is still so much more to be done. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
【EXPERIENCE】
Mayor Candidate, Voidaq Before serving the Norfolk City Police Department, being elected Councilperson, and now Norfolk City Firefighter, like many I had a history with the State of Rockport and The Robloxian Cops. Working my way up the ranks, and achieving Assistant Commissioner after just one short year. I have gained many leadership qualities, and continue to put them to the test everyday. In the recently passed term, I was elected Councilperson and achieved everything I set out to accomplish within the first two months such as: Establishing a Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Public Utilities Act, Forum Act, Question Period Act, Reciprocity Act, Justice Act, and many more. As well as co-founding other acts such as: Foreign Affairs Act, and the Department Administration/Controlled Act. We both plan on achieving much more with the cooperation of the department's, council people, and especially with the citizens of Norfolk in the coming months. Deputy Mayor Candidate, Rolerain
I've been around working with different groups for quite a while now. I've been a former Rockport Senator back in the day, however currently you can see me as a city councilperson for Norfolk.
I'm also currently the Council Liason for Norfolk, and also formerly one of the community representatives. I've been involved with the NCPD and NCFD, alongside close relations with numerous others in other departments. I am well aware of what the general public's needs, and am determined to see it through that everything is taken care of.
During my time as Councilman, I swore to find and fix any exposed loopholes and and address important issues in our city. Some of my bills are: Calm the Batons act, which defended citizens from being “baton rushed,” Defending Privacy Act, which made sure personal information posting would be fully illegal, Protecting Our Jobs Act, which made sure department heads weren’t sued for suspending their own staff, and a amendment to that clarifying it. Additionally, I have made 2 amendments to the city charter fixing loopholes. All of these passed council.
If we can all come together looking onto a common goal, we can get anything done. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
【GOALS】
We each have many goals each specified for our departments, and bringing the endless possibilities we once shared back to Norfolk. As you can see, we have outlined many new ideas that have come up. There is quite a few, so feel free to skip around, cover what you're interested in, and be sure to PM us any questions you may have. Transparency is very important to us. 【COUNCIL】 The council is a body of people that represent the people’s voices in an orderly way. We want to keep it like that. However, that means we need everyone's help. We want to have all of our population represented. That is why we are going to have more citizen involvement in the future, starting on the first day of our term.
【NORFOLK CITY GENERAL DISTRICT COURT】
Our court system has been unused for quite some time now. We believe that this is an essential and key part to bringing our once prospering city back to life that we had in the past. We plan on restructuring our court system where cases can be handled effectively, and to the best of its standards in a timely fashion.
【NORFOLK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT】
The Norfolk City Police Department is the heart and soul for our city. Providing jobs and activity to not just police officers, but also roleplay for citizens. In recent terms, this department training program have become a liability for it’s HCOMM, making applications nearly impossible to open often, ultimately discouraging law abiding citizens to leave our city after applying many times for a position. After speaking to many department officials, it has been clear that the best possible option to offer a consistent quality, and often training program, is by creating a third party academy.
【NORFOLK CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT】
This department is a key factor of our cities roleplay, also offering many jobs and positions for our city. In recent events, this department has been consistently targeted by criminals. In the words of Deputy Chief c0Ia, “FD, we're defenseless. We've tried to change that, but we've been unable. If there's killers outside, stay in the station. Don't respond.” This is unacceptable, no employee of our city should ever feel threatened to step outside. Our administration will work towards giving our fire department defenses to protect themselves as soon as possible.
【NORFOLK CITY DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS】
This department may not be a predominant one, however it is also essential. The Department of Corrections has been mishandled by the wrong people, in the wrong ways for an exasperating amount of time. The are many needs that need to be met before this Department can move forward and become successful like it once was. One way to plan on doing this is also by creating a third party training program to train their cadets.
【NORFOLK CITY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION】
The Department of Transportation has been underdeveloped for quite some time now. With the development of version three, we hope to bring further developments into towing, and providing interesting jobs that can be filled.
【OTHER PLANS】
Shutdown the Department of Aviation as there are more cons then pros. Shutdown the Community Relations Department as it is unused. Create a group to organize committees, such as an election and event committee. Shutdown the Criminal Group, as it is unused, and has no plans for the future. Create jobs by establishing government owned shops through the Department of Economic Development. Establish a safe and legal way of obtaining a self defense weapon.
【RECAP】
Improve citizens involvement with the bill process. Ensure all department directors are able to perform their job to the best of their ability. Ensuring the FD and other non-armed departments have tools to protect them Pushing for activity in our inactive departments, and allowing new people into them. Create a third party program for the NCPD and NCDOC to combine for consist quality academies that occur often. (As suggested and supported by Department HRs and Heads.) Further development into NCDOT.

However on the topic of fail roleplay, what would you do to ensure that it doesn't occur as much as it does today within both the citizens and the police department? Tackle it by making a anti-bunny hop system, trello banning fail roleplayers? What about accidental fail roleplay?

Fail roleplay is fail roleplay. Anyone who fails to roleplay will be punished by trello ban. Bunny hopping doesn't seem to be a large issue simply because some people do it automatically without thinking. Inserting a script to prevent this is an unsustainable idea because of a lack for a scriptor, it would also create lag and cause glitches with the guns. We do not support fail roleplay like many. In my eyes, fail roleplay such as jumping while be tased, and punching whilst in cuffs should be punishable by trello ban. However, minor fail roleplay acts shouldn't be punished the same way.
