If you tell someone they'll get so and so on their items, you're lying to them and scammers lie
So stop sweeting it up with the word "Sharking"
It passes for scamming

@Coy
But people use the word sharking for different situations where they go on an ALT with an stf for example, and offers someone cf for their cws, saying they have an stf offer on their cf
Or they go on an ALT with a cf and says they're offering stf for cf, and then sends the victim cf for cws, because the victim thinks he's getting an stf

Actually sharking is getting friends and alts to tell somebody to accept a bad trade from you
What they're doing in th is finding noobs with good items, having friends offer insane OPs on their bad items, then trading the noob the bad item, then the guy who offered before either leaves or "changes their mind". |

Anyone who argues against this statement is a sharker themselves.
And that's the truth.

Sharking is scamming. It's the exact definition.
Sharking isn't simply overvaluing your items and undervaluing theirs, that can easily be checked.
Sharking is getting many friends, fake accounts etc to convince a person that the value of something is either crashing, increasing, or lying about how much it's worth in general.

People try to justify sharking more than scamming.
More and more people admit to sharking and it overall decreases the negativity on their reputation.
Sharking has lost its meaning and impact MUCH quicker than scamming. Mainly because more people shark now, more people admit because others admit, and more people act like it's not bad.
Scamming = Sharking

@Vort
That's not sharking. Sharking is convincing someone by multiple accounts, friends, etc that an item is worth more than it is in an attempt to swindle them out of value. If you know the value of your items and try convince someone else their items are worth less simply to profit that just makes you an ass.
