Lebron is a better foundation for a team, as he can set up people and make the people around him better, but could also average 30 if he wanted to.
AI was a very powerful player, but he was a ballhog and a volume shooter. |

| never heard of a nobody like Allen Iverson. Why even mention a bench besides Lebron James' name? |

I'm willing to bet anything Iverson would have won more rings if he was on a team with D Wade/Chris Bosh or Irving/Love |

He apparently had a good enough team to go to the finals, plus please tell me those teams could win a championship without LeBron? The only other championship DWade has is when, oh yea, he had the most dominant center of all time.
Cleveland this year faces the same problem the clippers do, their bench is complete garbage, and a little bias here, but kevin love wasn't what he was meant to be.
Allen Iverson still only focused on his own success rather than the team's success which is why I'd rather have lebron. In a 1v1 situation I'd take Iverson. |

Just because I chose one player over another dosen't mean I "hate" on Iverson, for his size of 6' he was one of the most dynamic and explosive guards of his era, and one of the greatest, if not greatest guard below 6' 3''. His scoring ability rivaled that which of Kobe's and had a signature crossover that many people replicate today.
Simply, if I were to start a team, I would want someone that is a cornerstone to my franchise, and lebron is not only an offensive player, but he is a very good defensive player as well. One of the best two way players in the league. |

my favorite player is ai but for a team i would go with lebron simply cuz hes 6'8 forward that can get to the rack, involve his teammates, grab rebounds, and play amazing defense
ai was a pure scorer and was listed at 6'0 but in reality was actually more like 5'10. he led his team to the finals against the powerhouse lakers with shaq and kobe and won game 1 for the sixers with 48 pts
if ai had another scorer on his team
1. doesnt have to take that many shots 2. wouldve had 1 or multiple rings

wtf thats like the complete opposite
look at the 2000-2001 sixers roster and tell me who he should pass the ball to
especially against the lakers during the finals yeah ur gonna have a washed up mutombo guard shaq and who r u gonna have guard kobe!??!

Lebron James has always had star players to back him up, Allen Iverson carried his whole team. I won't deny he was a ballhog but when you're that good and the rest of your team is garbage you have a right to be. The 76ers have always been a losing team up until they drafted Iverson, once he dipped the team went downhill. After James left Miami the team didn't break apart like Philly did, they've always been pretty good
Iverson is also a better all around player than James. His quickness, ability to get to the basket, shoot from the field and intercept the ball outclass Lebron and it's not even close. The only thing that he has on AI is strength but I still think Iverson is able to score much easier because of how quick he is
Also calling AI selfish is far fetched, he gave his heart out to Philly and the fact that he even played for the 76ers was a blessing for them |

LeBron carried a crappy cavs team for 8 years and got to the finals in 07.
And AI is no where near LeBrons level at all. |

Yes just like AI did in Philadelphia, difference is only one of these players was able to beat Kobe and Shaq |
