When people complain about clans being bad others tell them "Fix it!"
Yet, when told tech is bad they complain in return "Not enough devs to help us!"
People cant seem to not be lazy all the way around. Those devs who tried to help fox things saw nothing but hate from this war clan community. When popular figure heads tried to fix things, nothing but resentment and opposition welcomed them.
This place is far from helping anymore until you guys can help yourselves for a change. Hence why others and myself have stopped trying to help "fix it". |

Who cares about tech
Activity, community and skill is what matters. |

"Activity, community and skill is what matters"
I totally forgot gameplay doesnt matter anymore its all about about how much you can endure a horribly made game for so long until you finally surrender a certain amount of times!
Yes marshal your logic is starting to make sense! |

Well actually, with so many games available, we don't need arrogant and diva developers anymore.
I have yet to meet a truly decent developer. Save for maybe some scripters, most devs are such cringe-worthy people.
Good riddance. |

Hacker my point is people need to become self sufficient not relying on popular devs.
So unsure if youre being supportive or making a general statement |

@blackmagic. The difference is enjoyable and smooth gameplay mechanics and a decent raiding system isnt too much to ask for?
Im disliking the generic smg/rcl with a "capture this area for 20 minutes to win!" type of games. Why bother raiding any clan if each game is the same?? |

Both, but I feel like you're more speaking on the apathy of clan members.
Popular developers are too popular. I think ROBLOX is really supporting a transition now, since you're either a dev or have a fat wallet these days to get involved in ROBLOX. |

"we don't need arrogant and diva developers anymore"
you wouldn't have to deal with either if you did the work yourselves
ik it's much easier to just push the work onto other people and blame them, but really what is there to complain about when you're the one outsourcing the work in the first place |

@bright
tbh i've been wondering that for years now
clan community loves to hate on devs and hates relying on them but wont go learn themselves
its not even hard, tbh if they spent as much time deving as they played politics or whatever theyd probably get super good |

Trying to create a "perfect community" right now actually. Everything will have its flaws, but the devs I am working with will put the community first.

I typed out a long response but ROBLOX did not let me post it. Couldn't find the word that was triggering it so:
tl;dr
At least attempt at learning lua and/or basic building techniques
It helps everyone if you are a bit more intelligent and can contribute at least a bit
at the very least I am sure someone who actually knows how script or build would choose to help someone who at least tries to script/build rather than someone who sits there and just screams "give me" |

idk how I'm against learning to build or script.
I'm against primadonna developers that take advantage of the fact that most people don't want to put the time and energy into learning a skill.
I event went on to say that ROBLOX is supporting the transition from random players to* every player seeking special skills.
That's what ROBLOX wants, or at least one of the things they want. |

Also about "out sourcing the work in the first place" and "what is there to complain about"
So you basically admit that the developer arrogance does exist.
And you try and justify it.
Well, where exactly would your client source be at if it weren't for clans?
Or hell, your audience in general.
Where would Thea or Owen or yourself be at if you had to compete against a torrent of other highly skilled developers, instead of just using the audience existing within a clan to claim your place on ROBLOX?
Not that you couldn't make it to where you are now. You're there because you brought yourself to it.
But clans gave you an easier access to an audience.
So what is there to complain about? We give you your start, we give you an audience that is sure to enjoy whatever you produce,
and primadonna developers turn around and give clans the middle finger over the smallest things.
If a common member insulted or offended a dev,
he swears up and down he'll quit unless the member gets exiled. I've seen that happen a lot.
So basically your values aren't even to your own audience... so what the hell?
Why do we need that, when in some time most people are going to be content developers. At that rate, you'll have so much competition that you'll need clans to be dependent on you if you want a guaranteed audience. |

Devs too often are just in it for money, but who can blame them. Money is what this game has become.
