RANKS FOR SCP FOUNDATION SECURITY DEPARTMENT
[Trainee]: Trainee is the rank in the department that people are put in when they show interest in joining the department. This rank gives no power or authority to the people in it. It acts merely as a placeholder.
Requirements to advance to Recruit:
-Advancement approved by a Security Captain
-Must be L-2+ in the parent group

[Recruit]: Recruit is the first rank in the Security Department, as a recruit you have been approved by a Security Captain that you have shown the skills it takes to become a member of the SCP Security Force. At this rank you still have no powers but are able to attend Department training's in order to train yourself for advancement in the Department.
Requirements to advance to Security Guard:
-Advancement approved by a Security Captain
-Must be L-2+ in the parent group

[Security Guard]: Security Guard is the first full-fledged member rank of the Security Department. As a Security Guard you are expected to obey commands given to you by Security Captains, you are also expected to follow the rules listed in the Security Department (and those listed in the parent group). As a member of the Security Force you have been given minimal authority under certain situations. This authority is limited to those of the rank L-3 and below and may only be used to tell non-security personnel to vacate the facility immediately.
Requirements to advance to Security Agent:
-Advancement approved by (at least) two Security Captains or a member of the Security Council rank.
-Shown remarkable behavior and has not violated the rules in which the Department follows
-Must be L-2+ in the parent group

[Security Agent]: Security Agent is the second rank in the Department, as a Security Agent you have been entrusted to be a leader in certain situations when no other higher ranks are around. You have been granted moderate power in certain situations over all non-security personnel and those of the rank L-3 and below. This power includes all of the powers listed for a Security guard plus the following: You may ask a personnel that seems suspicious what they are doing, if they say it is classified you may either ask for them to un-classify it if they are not of the appropriate rank or report to a Security Captain or L-4+ and tell them of the situation and let them deal with it.
Requirements to advance to Security Officer:
-Advancement approved by (at least) 2 Security Captains, a member of the Security Council rank, or the Director of Security
-Shown remarkable behavior and has not violated the rules in which the Department follows
-Must be L-3+ in the parent group
-Have not abused authority given to do all of the following (not limited to list):
-Used power to discriminate against other personnel based on any characteristic of said person
-Used power to establish absolute control in any of the situations in which the Department responds to.
*- ONCE ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS ABOVE HAVE BEEN PASSED, THE PERSON SHOULD PASS A "FINAL EXAM" HOSTED BY AT LEAST ONE SECURITY CAPTAIN, IN WHICH ALL SKILLS ARE TO BE TESTED. AFTER EXAM HAS BEEN FINISHED, A FINALIZED REPORT SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO A SECURITY COUNCIL RANK MEMBER OR ABOVE, EXPLAINING HOW WELL THEY DID IN ALL ACTIVITIES. This idea is currently being tested. If this is too challenging for the trainees and/or captains, things may return to their regular state.

[Security Officer]: Security officer is the next rank above Security Agent and the first middle rank in the department. As a Security Officer you have all powers listed before and the following: You are able to now warn non-security personnel in an event that requires the department’s attention. You may escort them out of the area or if they act hostile towards staff you are given the green light to terminate them at your own discretion if you do you will be able to be subject to a internal review of the action and might be punished. Due to the authority of this rank it will be only given to those of clearance L-3 and above.
Requirements to advance to Security Lieutenant:
-ADVANCEMENT APPROVED BY DIRECTOR OF SD or SECURITY COUNCIL
-Must be L-3+

(Anyone Officer and below can be part of a Response Team as long as they're approved by anyone mentioned before.)

[Response Team Auxilium]: Response Team Auxilium is a team primarily focused on evacuating personnel during a massive failure or massive containment breach. Their first goal is evacuate all Class A and Class B personnel along with guarding them afterwards. While there is no massive breaches or failures, they are to guard Class A/B personnel. Due to their elite nature only 4 people may be on this team and they have direct control of all SD ranks below them.

[Response Team Ferox]: Response Team Ferox is a team primarily focused on responding to hostile GOI attacks on a facility. If said attack does occur, Response Team Ferox will be deployed to the site to help any Security units or MTF units there. Due to the elite nature of this team only 4 people may be on this team and they also have direct control of all SD ranks below them.

[Response Team Viligem]: Response Team Viligem is a team primarily focused on dealing with sabotages and locating/detaining suspicious people. However Viligem nor is anyone in SD allowed to interrogate people other then asking their clearance, whereabouts and ID. Viligem is to hand said people over to ISD or a Site Director+ if needed. In the case of sabotages they are to find, locate, and escort repair teams to broken equipment, chambers or damaged electric equipment. Response Team Viligem is expected to respond at a moments notice to any of said events. Due to the elite nature of this team only 4 people may be on this team and they also have direct control of all SD ranks below them.

[Security Department High Ranks]

[Security Lieutenant]: Security Lieutenant is the first high rank within the Security Department that you can obtain. There can only be 5 Security Lieutenants overall. As a Security Lieutenant, you have complete authority over lower security ranks and are trusted to deal with on-site situations. You have high authority in these situations and can deploy Security Guards, Agents, and Officers into certain parts of the site, but not any Tactical Response Team. You are a symbol of the Security Department and thus will act professional in all situations. Due to the authority of this rank it will be only given to those of clearance L-3 and above unless authorized by the Director of SD. (Security Lieutenants may co-host or help with trainings if the trainer allows them.)
Requirements to advance to Security Captain:
-ADVANCEMENT APPROVED BY DIRECTOR OF SD or SECURITY COUNCIL
-Must be L-3+

[Security Captain]: Security Captain is the last rank that you can obtain (without O5 intervention) in the Department. There can be only 5 Security Captains overall. As a Security Captain you have complete authority over lower security ranks and are trusted to deal with on-site situations. You have high authority in these situations and can deploy Security Guards, Agents and Officers into certain parts of the site along with any Tactical Response Team. You also have any power mentioned before and have access to special weaponry. You are a symbol of the Security Department and thus will act professional in all situations. You have also been trusted to notify other Departments that are responsible for certain situations in which said Departments might respond to. If you are asked by a member of the departments listed to back off and let them deal with it you are to listen and if you feel they acted out of line report the situation to the Director of Security who will in turn deal with it. Due to the authority of this rank it will be only given to those of clearance L-3 and above unless authorized by the Director of SD. (Security Captains may host trainings, but must host 1-2 a week, unless given permission from the Security Director or Security Council that says otherwise.)

(ALL FURTHER RANKS REQUIRE APPROVAL BY THE O5 COUNCIL AND THE ADMINISTRATOR THEIR NAMES EXPLAIN THEIR ROLE IN THE DEPARTMENT AND WILL NOT BE LISTED)
