I have sleep paralysis on a regular basis. The most common experience for me is seeing a giant snake crawl in my room, it's completely black making it hard to see but the glowing eyes made it easy to notice. The snake is heavy and crawls towards my chest, and I'm obviously unable to move. The snake gets real close to me, looking like it was going to pounce.
I can stop my sleep paralysis now. I concentrate on clenching my fist, and then I wake up most of the time. |

most of the time i dont hallucinate i have only like 2 times the first one being this one time i was in a state of sleep paralysis and i woke myself up and then decided to go back to sleep but again i was in sleep paralysis and i woke myself up once again, and again i decided to go back to sleep and what do you know im in a paralyzed state once again but this time i didn't wake myself up and i just sat there looking at my desk which was across from my bed. then all of the sudden i start seeing floating faces they had clown face paint, one of them flew into my face barley touching it, at this point i was trying to wake myself up, the one that flew into my face then went behind my back as did the others but i could hear them laughing in only one of my ears, it reminded me of the spongebob's laugh.
and then i woke up and decided to not go back to sleep and just went and forumed on ot at like 3 am |

First time I went through it, I was sleeping on my back, "I" woke up but my brain didn't, I was petrified, I didn't know what was happening, and the next mistake I made was horrible, I opened my eyes.
I started having vivid hallucinations, I saw a demon that looked just like the 10,000 volt ghost from Scooby-doo. (look it up) Except it was yellowish. After while I wiggled my toes, and the first thing I did was search what the heck happened to me.
I determined I went through sleep paralysis, and I've been paranoid ever since. Fortunately, I have taught myself to recognize when I'm in sleep paralysis. |

Also here's a tip:
If you're in SP, don't even think about screaming, it's impossible to even react, which is why it's so horrific. |

call me crazy but i think its so cool when im in sleep paralysis i often mistake it lasting for my whole sleep but to learn it only happens from 10-15 seconds with me
THE FUNNIEST SLEEP PARALYSIS STORY I CAN TELL YOU IS: it was after my grandfathers funeral and i had to take a nap cause i didnt sleep the night before. i was still in my suit and all. so i slept for 2 hours and then i was awaken, but my brain was still asleep. i was aware of everything happening and im listening to conversations in vietnamese. nothing scary happened, it looked like all my relatives are making a big dinner. then my brain awoke to my little cousin shaking me gently. i think my mind woke up because my 3 day younger cuz threw a football straight into my belly.
so i woke up painlessly yeah!!!
errrbody in the club gettin tipsy |

I know your not supposed to open your eyes, but I do it anyways...
I always have hallucinations of Aliens like probing me and stuff, I also see shadows in my doorway and like demon looking creatures sitting on my bed, it's creepy but...Meh..

"its scary cuz its irritating to struggle"
I've trained myself to recognize when I'm in SP, let me tell you, if you're used to it, it's actually more irritating than scary. It's frustrating. |

I've only had it once. I woke up not being able to move for five seconds or so; 'twas a scary experience.
