Like, basically...
If you had the blonde hair that sticks up, you could change it to be black, white, brown, blonde, red, or any of the skin colors.
That's just an example, but it would save you energy of making new clothes just for the color of the clothes.
Support if you agree. It seems like it will open more creativity to new players.

Ok, but ROBLOX does make many retextures of hats, also, many clothe designers have the same shirt for multiple colors, and like to make money off it like that. Roblox is eager to take your Robux as much as possible. And no, they arnt mean, they need money to keep the site running.
put some respek on my thread |

I'm not talking about the ones that cost ROBUX right now.
I'm talking about the free items that ROBLOX now gives you when they join. Also... How is this abusable? [2]

"Isn't it obvious?" No, apparently it's just you being convinced everything can be abused. |

1. Clothes are already recolored in the Catalog's Market, it also makes more revenue for the designers.
2. There are shirts that can be multi-colored based on your character's body colors.
3. Horrid idea, it'd hurt the catalog. |

"Dang.. why doesn't anyone understand?" They don't understand what you mean by 'free,' apparently, because to them ROBLOX cannot put clothes up in the catalog which ignore the market floor and have a price of the following: FREE.
For anyone confused, what OP is referencing are the shirts/pants that ROBLOX put into the catalog which ignore the price floor so all players have SOMETHING to wear.
Some examples of what I mean: https://www.roblox.com/item.aspx?seoname=Grey-Striped-Shirt-with-Denim-Jacket&id=144076436 https://www.roblox.com/item.aspx?seoname=Blue-Plaid-Shirt&id=398635081 https://www.roblox.com/item.aspx?seoname=Blue-and-Black-Motorcycle-Shirt&id=144076358 https://www.roblox.com/item.aspx?seoname=I-3-Pizza-Shirt&id=382537085
Are you understanding exactly which shirts and pants yet? Good. Now that you realize what the OP means by the free clothing, we can explain what was meant by changing the colors.
To my understanding, OP is proposing adding either a system which lets you select colors on (and pay attention here) JUST the free shirts and pants which ROBLOX put on the catalog similarly to how you can change the color of your head/torso/arms/legs, or the OP is proposing making them more similar to shirts some devs already make (such as https://www.roblox.com/--item?id=118322439 as an example).
Either way, what exactly is the problem with the idea? Being able to change the colors of just those articles of clothing wouldn't affect devs in any way, and would improve the overall diversity in appearances you'll see in players walking around on ROBLOX. If implemented, not all new male avatars will have that black jacket, some might have a green jacket or a pink shirt underneath. Not all female avatars will have that denim jacket with the same white-and-grey striped shirt, some might have a purple jacket or have orange and black stripes. |

Honestly, I think this a great idea, but ROBLOX probably won't like it because it doesn't give a reason for NBCers to buy robux to get new clothes, because they can just change the colors of the free ones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You just finished reading my siggy. |

| I support. Also, this entire "BUT CLOTHING DESIGNERS RECOLOR IT" argument is stupid. Downloading ROBLOX's template, using the paint tool on it, then charging money for it is not something you deserve payment for. |

"...but ROBLOX probably won't like it because it doesn't give a reason for NBCers to buy robux to get new clothes..." Doesn't stop us from supporting this, though. And if enough people support it, maybe they'll come to their senses and do something their players want for once :P |
