This century's music is rap, I wish metal was in that place. I personally can listen a couple of 80's songs until I get annoyed. I like 1940's music. I like WW2 marching music too.

people who use a timeframe to describe their favorite music are morons, there is still plenty of good artists out there that you have never heard of because you never attempted to look.

If we could accept the fact that there is no 'better' music but good music, that'd be great.
I love 90's rock and here are some suggestions for new rock music.
btw Billy Talent's new song 'Afraid of Heights' is quite nice. Have you heard of Foo Fighters Saint Cecilia EP?
I can't say Zac Brown Band is a rock band but its newest album Jekyll + Hyde has 2 songs that might make you interested as well - Heavy is the Head, Junkyard. |

I don't like 80's music personally, because most of it is way too corny sounding. If I listen to old music it's usually classical, 60s, 70s or 50s Rock/jazz

strongly disagree. you can find good music in pretty much any decade - saying that one particular decade of music is any better than another is stupid.

I like 80's rock and electronic music, I also like synthwave and other music which tries to recreate 80s feel in stuff

I prefer now pop to 80s pop because 80s pop sounds just so... off. If music were a film series, the 80s would have been a middle story, because it's all transitioning from disco to the pop of today, so it always seems out of place. Also, I agree, it's corny (although no less than the 70s.) Pop-wise pre-70s is best because jazz and rock and classical > all.

I like stuff from the 80's to early 2000's. Daft Punk, Outkast and Drowning Pool are of my favorites.
