RANK GUIDE:
A basic guide outlining the purpose and requirements of each rank / position.
I — HOPEFUL Those that have yet to pursue citizenship and training within the Empire are considered hopefuls. To advance, the hopeful must join the Sith Academy or find a Master to train them.
II(i) — SITH ACOLYTE Hopefuls that were unable to find a master joined the academy in hopes of becoming Sith. To advance, the acolyte must complete his or her training.
II(ii) — SITH APPRENTICE Equal to an acolyte, the apprentice is a hopeful handpicked by a Warrior or above to learn as a student. To advance, the apprentice must complete his or her training.
III(i) — SITH WARRIOR Students that have completed their training may choose between the path of the Sith Warrior or Inquisitor.. To advance, earn the favor of a Lord+ to begin a career as an overseer.
III(ii) — SITH INQUISITOR Students that have completed their training may choose between the path of the Sith Warrior or Inquisitor.. To advance, earn the favor of a Lord+ to begin a career as an overseer.
IV — SITH OVERSEER Overseers are the prime instructors within the Empire. They are the backbone of the academy and conduct the training of all acolytes. However, they may not join a powerbase or take on an apprentice. To advance, prove yourself worthy before a Lord or above.
V — SITH MASTER Master's are veteran Overseer's that have earned the right to call themselves masters of the Sith way. Unlike Overseer's, they may take on an apprentice and join a powerbase. To advance, gain the favor of a Dark Council member.
VI — SITH LORD The highest obtainable position for the common man is the rank of Lord. A Sith Lord is a veteran and seasoned warrior that has earned a position of power within the Empire. To advance, be voted onto the Dark Council.
MANDALORIAN COMMANDER Those that followed Jaster Verad and Karza Marev and were not pronounced force sensitive during the transition to the Empire were offered an honorary status that offered near-free reign. Mandalorian Commanders are seasoned veterans and answer to no one but Demomet and Avariik. This position is only available to veteran commanders of Mando`ade that do not wish to be Sith.
VII — THE DARK HONOR GUARD The silent guardians of the Empire, the Dark Honor Guard maintains the order and security of the Empire while protecting those ranked Dark Council and above.
VIII(i) — HIGH SITH LORD Those unable to secure themselves a seat on the Dark Council but display a vast knowledge and prowess as Sith are granted this position. They are equivalent to Dark Council members except for the fact that they are not apart of the Council.
VIII(ii) — THE DARK COUNCIL The ruling body of the Empire, the Dark Council manages and leads the Empire. Members of the Dark Council own powerful powerbases and have unlimited power.
IX — HAND OF THE EMPEROR Champion of the Empire, advisor to the Emperor and heir and regent to the throne. The Hand of the Emperor fills the positions of what was formerly the Voice and Wrath. This position is currently held by Avariik.
X — THE SITH EMPEROR Sovereign ruler of the Empire, the Sith Emperor is the nations de facto leader. This position is currently held by Dekomet. |
