Hey guys, i bought some "spice island" vanilla extract a while back and i'm down to about 2 teaspoons (my soufflé recipe calls for 2 tablespoons) I'm not going to go out and pick up some extract (my favorite brand is relatively expensive), so can you guys suggest some substitutes you may have used? So far I have mixed in a teaspoon of almond ext. and i have a few more stronger extracts. what might work?

i have some fresh maple syrup, yes (the expensive kind), but im not sure its strong enough to substitute for a powerful flavor like vanilla. i may have to work with some raw maple leaves :P

try using water. mix it in with the extract, and it'll create more, even if it tastes watered down.
This is totally not a siggy or something like that. |

| @ill Read the rules of the ATR forums. If it isn't ROBLOX related then it should be in Off Topic. Just because a mod did it (salty) olny means he himself isn't following the rules. He shouldn't be a mod if he cant follow the rules. |
