| I'm a bit confused about these tycoon games. How do they get so popular when most of them, if not all are the same waiting game and with different themes? There's so many of them anymore. |

That makes the most sense, I'm not insulting these games... I kinda am because I feel like it's as easy as making the standard obby.
1) Find free model kit 2) Make some models 3) Done.
To be fair, there are SOME good tycoon games like Lumber Tycoon that I loved. It's a shame that they can't make better tycoon games but I guess it's all about that $$$ |

| I understand that and using one to learn from but I have seen these tycoon games recently that are using this free model kit and getting so popular and having so many game passes / developer products. I think these people are using this as a way to make so much robux from this basic concept. From my experience, playing these aren't fun because you just wait. |

Well for starter, you're wanting to finish your Tycoon and then people see you playing it, and are like hey why the heck don't I build my own. YAY

| From just browsing now, I keep seeing a game pass for "Infinite money" ... which removes the entire purpose of the tycoon game. I know you have to make money from these game passes / developer products but at least put some thought into them so they don't make your game pointless, or if your that kind of person that only cares about money then *shrugs* |

You can't lose on them. If a player is guaranteed a reward of not losing, they'll join it. This only appeals to children though, which is what most of the tycoons are appealed at.

Very good point iacso.
I have an idea of a Tycoon that isn't anything like the tycoons kits. It might not sound fun but I thought about there's a retail store. Someone is randomly chosen to be the manager and then he would assign jobs to his employees like Cashier, Stocker, etc. The manager would have to view trends in goods and see what his customers think by purchasing surveys to hand to customers. He could purchase other things like items for his customers like benches and other things to keep them happy. Customers would be NPCs that would have a list of items to get or someone who just stopped by to look around and possibly buy something. While thinking about it, there might be two managers to manage everyone. I believe this could be a fun game if made correctly and if people work together.
I'm also a scripter / builder and might do a test run of this in the future. |

| Thanks, also all of these tycoons tend to have combat for absolutely no reason. |
