| I created an animation for an in animate object using roblox's animation editor and when I hit play on roblox studio, it works perfectly. However, whenever I go to multiplayer, the animation doesn't work! I thought there might've been something wrong with the welds or the script but I'm not getting any errors in the console or output. Whats going on? |

Is your animation script local?

| No, the animation script is server side and the object is not attached to the player at all. |

Where are you putting the animation? and are you even playing it?

| The animation is inside the script and yes it is playing. When I went to roblox studio, it works fine. But when I go to an actual server, the animation isn't playing at all. |

I mean, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my script I think:
local animController = Instance.new("AnimationController") animController.Parent = script.Parent local Roar = script:WaitForChild("Roar") local RoarAnimation = animController:LoadAnimation(Roar)
RoarAnimation:Play()
The Roar Animation is a child of the script and its a loop script. The thing it is interacting with is a non humanoid object. |

| Add wait(1) between the last two lines |

Tried it. Doesn't work. Whats even weirder is that I made a small script to test if the animation was playing or not:
while wait() do if RoarAnimation.IsPlaying then print("Playing") else print("Not playing") end
And for some super weird reason, I checked the output in server mode and it said that the animation WAS playing but it wasn't appearing on my player screen. Is there any reason for this? Why is it I can't see the animation on my player screen? |

| Alright this is officially MEGA weird. I went to server mode in roblox studio. I looked in the server screen and the animation was playing. I then looked in the player screen and the animation wasn't playing. WTH? |

| It had already loaded in. I think. I think its just the player can't see it. |

Yeah I'd like to know why this happens as well.

Does the animation "Roar" have an ID, or a roblox link?
public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Oops! Wrong language."); } |

| Yes it does. Its really weird because now I just tested it and it works ok in multiplier but some other players can't see it. Is this some kind of roblox error on their part? |

| I THINK I resolved the problem. I added like wait(20) at the beginning of my script now it seems to work normally. Very odd. |
