Love is just a possession that some of us are able to have, but love just possesses you into possession.

Love is an evolutionary trait designed to encourage reproduction and pack mentalities, and it consists of norepinephrine, dopamine, and lowered levels of serotonin.

Love is just something we have that we think we have, kind of like a man liking another man. A man thinks he likes the man, but he's just doing it for the attention.

Love is real and observable though, its chemical reaction can be seen. Most animals experience it. For example, when you pet a dog it releases serotonin, prolactin and oxytocin. Those chemicals, along with dopamine, are all a part of the pleasure system in both humans and non-human animals. And as we all know, the pleasure system is integral in love. It's to develop bonds between people which encourages them to group together. It also pushes them to reproduce so their species can continue.

I know what you mean, but let's be honest humans are worse than most animals are. Because at least animals get to cheat on their spouse without their spouse getting upset.

No, humans aren't worse than animals, humans ARE animals.
"Better" and "worse" doesn't apply in the animal kingdom. At least not in a moral sense. The only "better" and "worse" in the animal kingdom is the food chain. Some animals are better, some animals are worse. Morality still exists in the non-human animal kingdom, but it's much more practical. It doesn't bother with the well-being of other animals. It doesn't care about its species relativity to others. It's simply designed to keep its species going.
Human morality used to be the same way. The morality of primal man was focused on survival, just like every other animal's morality is. Religion and overall human sensitivity have changed human morality drastically though, and now it's more focused on other peoples' feelings. It even factors in the rest of the animal kingdom. Whether that's a good or bad thing is all up to you.
