Top 5 DBL Prospects:
(DISCLAIMER: My definition of "Prospects" may differ from yours. I don't consider prospects to be only DMLers and rookies, but players early in their career with untapped potential aswell.)
#1. Dvnger (BAL Farm Team): This kid is the best pitching prospect hands down. Currently in the DML, he has nasty breaking pitches and can entice players to swing and miss consistently. Honestly, this kid could be an all star pitcher in the DBL if he wanted to right now, but he is convinced that he should stay in the DML and work on his talent so he can start his rookie year next season on top. Infact, I doubt there’s any possibility that he WON’T win S11 ROTY. Not only pitching, but you can plug this young buck into any position on the field and not expect errors from him. As a batter, he’s best fit as a leadoff/2nd in lineup, as he makes great contact and can get base hits DBL Potential Comparison: I can say this with certainty, he is the next RKOKingsom000 of the DBL. MLB Prospect Comparison: Lucas Giolito (#1 Pitching Prospect) Best Position: SP
#2. David_Wright (BAL): Yet to really have a breakout season, but with LOADS of potential, hbrown19. He has a lot of experience with nextgen (something Dvnger does not have), and can pitch decently. Where you really see the talent in David though, is his bat and glove. David can hit for power and for contact, you can put him anywhere on the field and he won’t be a defensive reliability. He does have a bit of an ego on him, but some teams need a “hot head” if you will, to help spark their confidence. David’s a star in the making, and is gonna be a force soon enough. DBL Potential Comparison: M1K3_1 MLB Prospect Comparison: Corey Seager Best Position: SS/2B
#3. DesmondSanders (DET Farm Team): Possibly the best “Hit for average” player on this list, Desmond’s one of the future stars of Detroit. With his ability to get on base, I doubt he’ll play even 3 DML games before getting a call up. A little rough around the edges on defense, but nothing much to worry about nonetheless, Desmond won’t be a spectacular fielder for your team, but he won’t be a bad glove out there either. In the long run, if his fielding doesn’t improve, I’d see him as a 3B/1B/DH. With the contact he possesses though, he’ll be a force to be reckoned with for pitchers in the near future. DBL Potential Comparison: kindcdog09 MLB Prospect Comparison: Jorge Soler Best Position: RF/1B
#4. Riddlebark (LA Aliens): After making the ASG and winning Gold Glove at catcher in S9, you wouldn’t think Riddle would be considered a prospect… But oh the contrary. Doubted, and infact, rated a 48 OVR in the DBL card collections, this kid has a chip on his shoulder. I’ve seen him play, and there’s one thing for sure: You don’t wanna steal on him. He can throw you out with a Johnny Bench-esque ease and nonchalantness as if it’s effortless. The main problem with Riddle is; He strikes out a lot. If he can manage to get the bat on the ball, he has some major pop in his bat. If he can increase his contact, he could become the next premier player in the DBL. DBL Potential Comparison: Prumo MLB Prospect Comparison: Kyle Schwarber Best Position: C
#5. KinqJohnXII15 (Detroit Bulls): Signed last season by the Bulls, I’m not even sure if John got in a single game. Although such, I’ve seen him in various other leagues and have actually played alongside him, and he’s a sleeper on a lot of people’s radars, which of course would be the reason why he’s on the Bulls, owned by Charlie, possibly the best high potential, underrated player-finding GM (Fun fact: He drafted Dvnger, also me). While fielding, Kinq is nothing to joke about. Best described as a utility man, Kinq can make a stop on defense anywhere from the hot corner to covering the gaps in center field. Unfortunately, his fielding comes with a downside; his batting. With horrible plate discipline and under average contact, at this moment, you can expect Kinq to barely scrape .280-.300 territory. For the long run, is it likely that he’ll improve these bat habits in the box? Maybe, maybe not. One thing for sure, is it likely he’ll be an all star in the near future? No, not very likely. Nonetheless, a good potential prospect to top off the list. DBL Potential Comparison: Sitboy MLB Prospect Comparison: Byron Buxton Best Position: CF |

yea. Riddle is a 48 OVR because he strikeouts every time he comes to the plate.
But a pretty good catcher for some reason? |
