Look at the mathematics logically and like a problem solver; get the general idea of each concept and then use logic and reason to apply it to each situation you need. It doesn't matter if you don't know everything so long as you can logically find the solution.

That way, well, you can review just a little and thus know how to do it all.

| I've never found math concepts hard, but ironically I still can't do any method of multiplication fast and effectively, in 9th grade. |

math, like every subject, is something that you can only be very good at if it captivates your interests (with a few exceptions)
unfortunately there's a social stigma where people think it's OK to be bad at math and people accept that they can never be good at it and move on with their lives
everyone has the capability to excel at math, but not everyone is interested in learning or putting in the effort to do so |

see the thing is I say it's hard yet I get straight a's in all my classes
except right now I have an 88 in math so I need a good grade on the final to raise that
which is why im stressing |

I think your advice is helpful GuestIy
one of the reasons I like math is because there's many ways to find an answer; if you don't remember how to solve something, there are many other options to get the answer |

i'm still confused on the ones where you have to factor weird numbers
like what would be an effective way to factor something along the lines of:
12x^2+36x+24

the first thing we do to factor a polynomial is to take out the greatest common factor
in this case, all of the coefficients in 12x^2+36x+24 can be divided by 12, so we can take out a 12, making it look like this:
12(x^2+3x+2)
next we factor the polynomial itself
to do that, we look at the last term (the number with no x in front of it) called c
next, we take two numbers that multiply to give you c and add them to give you the middle term (the number with only 1 x in front of it)
there are only two numbers that multiply to give you 2 (2 and 1), so we add those and see if it matches the middle term (2 + 1 = 3)
we take the two numbers we used to multiply into c and write them out like so: (x + 1)(x + 2)
we just multiply by the 12 we took out earlier and we're done:
12(x + 1)(x + 2)
