-having to go with your family to eat, but there's nowhere to go, it's all the same :( -summer is hell on earth, you can't go outside because dragonflies the size of your arm, mosquitoes and spiders the size of your palm, and black bees that size of your thumb will kill you :( -winter isn't enjoyable anymore because it hasn't snowed in nearly 3 years :( -wanting to go out to have fun, but you're sick and tired of h2oasis :( -planning to leave the state for vacations but the quickest car drive to the US is nearly 24 hours long, and plane tickets cost too much :( -waking up in the winter is impossible because it's too dark :( -sleeping in the summer is impossible because it's too bright :( -having moose families outside your front lawn, so you have to leave and come back later in an hour or else they'll kill you :( -having to deal with all the kids telling me how I survive riding snowmobiles, sleeping in igloos, and eating polar bears, even though I don't do that :(
it's sad here

Sounds horrible. Are you going to leave the state after high school?
In my state (WV), the only truly horrible things are the stereotypes.

I live in texas and the worst thing is probably the random weather changes
for instance, a few months ago around easter my lawn was frozen and it was 40 degrees all morning. |

"but I do want to move out to san diego"
Piece of advice from a lower 48er.
DON'T MOVE TO CALIFORNIA.
Seriously, it's ridiculously expensive to live there.
If you move to the lower 48, move to Washington (State)
Everything is much more cheap, and we look more like Alaska.
Climate isn't as different.
There is night in summer.
There is day in winter.
So yeah. |

Also, it even looks like Alaska.
Unless you go east of cascades.
Then its just desert. |

we have day in winters too, it's just short
anyways, los angeles is extremely expensive, but I've researched and found san diego to be a lot cheaper, actually just a bit less than here in alaska

"anyways, los angeles is extremely expensive, but I've researched and found san diego to be a lot cheaper, actually just a bit less than here in alaska"
But hey I mean.
I seriously doubt your body is ready for that type of transition.
Washington's climate is less harsh on people who are used to cold, unless you hate rain as well.
