I'm new to animation, and i'm using ROBLOX's plugin to animate suff, but I don't know how to use theirs and I can't view my own animation.
Anybody know how to use it? |

| I want to run the animation, but I can't find any of the things and the 'file, settings, and edit' buttons aren't doing anything. |

The Wiki page is actually incredibly helpful here. I just learned how to use Animations 5 days ago:

| Yea, I'm using that plugin, but the problem i'm having is that when holding a tool with my animation, the tool makes my animation wacky. |

From that description, it could be any number of things. Check to see if the tool is already attempting to 'animate' the player.
When I animate, my tools are lifelessly welded to the player's arm, and the animation only affects that arm.

| I'm just currently using a free model weapon for tests, and I see nothing of it animating my player. |

the only thing I see about animating is this:
local right_arm = vCharacter:FindFirstChild("Right Arm") if (right_arm ~= nil) then local joint = right_arm:FindFirstChild("RightGrip") if (joint ~= nil and (joint.Part0 == sword or joint.Part1 == sword)) then tagHumanoid(humanoid, vPlayer) humanoid:TakeDamage(damage) wait(1) untagHumanoid(humanoid) end end
end end |

Yeah, don't use free model weapons.
Go into ROBLOX Sets > Game Stuff > Weapons and use a classic Linked Sword. Remove all the scripts and sounds from it, and it should be good.

| Oh, lol. I did click that, but it showed me nothing about what I needed for the weapon problem. |

On the contrary, it shows you everything you need. Don't just skim. Read.

Does it specifically say something about custom animations working with weapons?
I only animated the movement and idle, those are the only things I had animated. |
