1) Why are you asking in C&G
2) It depends, want a cheap walmart gun; a high quality gun that will last you?
I have an AK that I've been using since I was a sophomore in high school, it costed me $220.
I'd say you can get a decent gun for 100-150 though |

when I was younger me and my brother got a shotgun/pistol combo pack for like 60-80 bucks I think? Wasn't fancy but they were fun. I remember playing with a few people and being able to compete find against their more expensive stuff.

I got my KWA SR7 for $300.
It's good quality, I am better than lots of U.S. Veterans that go to Camp Pendleton to airsoft/paintball.

You can get a good gun for about $250 sometimes less with a good deal/sale. But must places to participate in airsoft matches require you to have gear which can range from a $10 airsoft mask to countless dollars of replica military gear

Yes, lol.
My first gun was this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=10143
Or you could get the other one that's the same, but has a longer barrel.
It's super good for the price. I spent hours watching reviews and stuff before I got my first gun.

For a beginner practice a ton in your back yard to learn how to control your aim unless you drop a good amount of money into your gun it's gonna have a sway/dropoff that you have to be able to control
Find a place around you, that you can go to often and try to make friends with the people there after a while you'll be a pro

Wizvrds gun is good as-well it depends on what you want to do. if you want to get into to tournaments, im not saying that wouldn't work but i wouldn't say it's the best of even half decent option

"Ok, Do they tell you the rules? Seems pretty fun"
usually the websites/coupon services you buy from will list the rules. If not call the place and ask rules are really relevant because so places ban certain guns and if you got a gun they don't like and you buy tickets and get there with it you're out o' luck
