I. Introduction II. Improving ROBLOX by; Being Nice III. Improving ROBLOX by; Heightening The Quality Of Games IV. Improving ROBLOX by; Foruming with Quality V. Improving ROBLOX by; Helping New Users VI. Conclusion; The Reverse Domino Effect
I. Introduction As of this moment in time, ROBLOX is an unappealing game to many users. To those many users, hope seems futile for ROBLOX. They are wrong. You, as a user, can help improve ROBLOX. You don't even have to be super talented. You don't need to beg the administrators. You can improve ROBLOX yourself.
II. Improving ROBLOX by; Being Nice.
I've already mentioned this many times before, but it can't hurt mentioning it in this thread. You can improve ROBLOX by being nice. If you are kind to other users, you will trigger a domino effect. Except, it's like the dominoes are picking themselves up.
When you are nice to another user, they will often act like you, and be nice to others. This will spread, and eventually transform many users into intelligent and mature contributors to the community. This will, in turn, stop many flame wars, make the game more appealing, and give the administrators more time to do things other than take actions against accounts.
III. Improving ROBLOX by; Heightening the Quality of Games.
You can also improve ROBLOX by taking a little time and making your game a little bit more well-built and scripted. Instead of just throwing bricks or free-models together to create a broad cliff, you can take a small bit more time, and make a detailed, more realistic cliff. When other users see your game, they will want to make one just like it. They will, probably, take more time and build a good place, too.
IV. Improving ROBLOX by; Foruming with Quality
Take an honest look around you on the forums. Count the well-thought out posts that mean something. They are in much lesser quantity than the opposite - chances are. You can turn this around.
When you take time and make your posts quality, something clicks inside the heads of many forumers. They sometimes realize that there is more to foruming than saying 'Tl;Dr' or 'Inorite?'. This, in turn, causes more and more quality posts. A better forum.
V. Improving ROBLOX by; Helping New Users.
As with section II, I have mentioned this some times before. But, like before, I see no harm in mentioning it again.
Helping new users will improve ROBLOX. If you help a new user, they will become knowledgeable about the game. They will then, in turn, teach others. It's the same concept. It spreads like a disease.
VI. Conclusion: The Reverse Domino Effect.
Everything here follows the same concept. As I call it, the reverse domino effect. Instead of knocking down each other, we are picking each other up. You can improve ROBLOX by taking a kind attitude and trying to be the best you can. It's easier than it seems. ------------------------------------------------------------------
For further information on sections II. and V., visit these threads.
Section V.: Elaboration: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=18502225
Section II: Elaboration: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=18312209 ------------------------------------------------------------------ "ROBLOX is like a time bomb, mind the reference.
If you make it more unappealing by flaming, spamming, and so on, you are speeding up the timer. When the timer goes off, ROBLOX will be completely unappealing.
If you do nothing, it will slowly tick down on it's own.
If you help, and contribute in a wholesome and good way, you are deactivating the bomb. [Don't cut the red wire, and don't go below 50.]" - Link9401 ------------------------------------------------------------------
Do not say 'Tl;Dr'. For one, it doesn't contribute to the thread and is therefore spam. It also gives you a bad name. If you didn't read, just bump the thread - let others see it.
Thank you for reading, if you did. It means a lot. |

dsds,
The little note about the 'tl;dr' thing was right above the post button. You couldn't have just read that and said something like 'bump'? |

| In section V point out that you shouldn't adopt newbies, but only help them when they ask. Other than that, great stuff! |

Sweezy,
I have posted this before - but due to the, well, necrobumping rule, I can't bump it. It's been dead for a while now and I believe it's too old. |

Sharky,
Thanks - and, you can't advertise threads, lol, so I'm forced to say no thanks there. |

Nin,
I am not against it, unless the users start to treat the new users like pets. The concept of helping new users, even one specifically, is fine and sound. |

Jc,
Everyone can make a difference. A small good action will a go a long, long way. It will improve ROBLOX when you help. It will improve ROBLOX want you make a super epic game. Everyone can improve ROBLOX. Even if only 20% of ROBLOX sees this, it will be passed on silently. It's hard to explain. Understand what I mean? |

Gorilla,
It doesn't need to be, but it will help a lot if it does get pinned. |
