Official APN Officer Guide

Fully reading and understanding this is absolutely critical and required for all Alversian Officers. It is meant to help you be an effective part of the Alversian high command.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
CONTENTS:

-Alversian Officer Network
-HR Quota System
-Shout Tags
-Trainer Guide
-Uniform Enforcement Policy
-Alversian Blacklist

-Note: Credit system and scoring can be found in the APN Group Guide. Find it in the Information Directory.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
ALVERSIAN OFFICER NETWORK:

To ensure proper communication throughout APN's high rank core, everyone of the rank Lieutenant or up must be in this group. No exceptions. http://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=2687443

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
HR QUOTA SYSTEM:

How this works:
-High ranks must message me the amount of events per week that they can fit into their schedule (2 minimum), and then stick to that.
-Quotas are every week, HR purges are every other week.

Quota format:
(I want only this format and only the information I ask for. Nothing else. No comments, no questions, nothing. If you have to say something, send it in another message). Do the quotas 100% accurately. If something is off, the quota will not be accepted.
*To message me you must follow me, then refresh the page.

Do not include anything within the parenthesis in your quota, whatever is in parenthesis is just so you know what to put there.

---

[Time]: (Event start time-event end time.)

[Attendance]: (Write down everyone's names right before you end the event)
user - credits earned
user - credits earned
user - credits earned

[Handoff]: Yes/No (if yes, include who handed off the event to you and when)

[Quota]: (#/#)

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
SHOUT TAGS:

The shout tag system is meant to streamline and organize our shouts in an easy-to-understand way.

Your shouts should be in this format:

[TAG] Shout

Tags are as follows~

Group Event: [E]
Announcement: [A]
Important Announcement: [IA]
Question: [Q]

NOTICE:

Only Admirals and up can initiate an [IA]/Important Announcement. Important Announcements must be kept in all shouts for at least 6 hours after their creation.

Examples:
[E] Training here: (link) | [IA] (text)
[E] Defend the base! (link) | [IA] (text)

TRAINER GUIDE:

Remember that you are the center role model for our young members to follow. If you are a bad role model then you are tainting those members. If you are good they will grow. They will learn in the way you teach them and if you do not have success in being a good role model you will have no success in training.

Below are subjects/categories we need to teach our members. Make sure you follow these principles as well.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Respect
This is important in forming relationships with your trainees. Respect is not automatic, it is earned. Don’t just expect it. You get it by respecting others.

-Commitment
Convincing members why they should attend events every day and come back for more even when they don't want to. Making events fun and respecting members makes this a reality.

-Honor
You must teach them not to embarrass the group or themselves, not to cheat, to be fair, and not to desert combat. APN does not tolerate leaving events with no explanation. You must teach them mental toughness to help them strive during combat.

-Loyalty
Being loyal isn't sucking up. It's trust. Loyalty is faithfulness to a group. Be confident with what they can achieve and with what they will try to achieve. You got to believe that you can but the work must be put down or that belief could become false.

-Understanding, patience, and a sense of humor

Sometimes people say illegible things. In that case, ask them to reword what they’ve said. Be patient with members. If you’re not, it may lead them into leaving the group. You also shouldn’t be completely serious as this is a laid back group. It’s good to have a sense of humor.

-Honesty
Simply do not lie or try to cover things up. It makes you and the group look stupid.

-Leadership
Leadership isn’t just yelling at people to do things. Leadership is as simple as telling your friend bob he is standing in the line for the girls bathroom. In other words, leadership is telling someone what they are doing wrong and helping them to improve.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED TRAINING METHODS]

-Scouting and Communication
Practice spotting weak points in a base or structure and practice communicating with teammates with as much information as fast as possible to improve effectiveness.

-Team Deathmatch (TDM)
Two or more teams competing to win using guns, swords, or any other tools.
Never make random teams.

-Free For All (FFA)
Every man for himself, goes until someone reaches a certain score. This should definitely not be used more than twice per training and should not last an absurdly long amount of time.

-Tournament
1v1 or team vs team. Has multiple rounds, each has a winner and loser. Winners and losers can be sorted with two different lines. After everyone has fought, the winners or winning teams will fight until one winner remains.

-Gladiator
Pick team captains. Those team captains can pick their team members. Team captains also pick whose turn it is to fight in the arena. If a team captain dies, their team loses regardless of if there are other people still on it.

-Survival
Have a single file line at one side of the arena and one survivor at the other side. People in the line will take turns fighting the survivor. If the survivor dies, he is replaced by the person he was killed by. If there is a tie, the next person in line is the survivor. No re-dos and no healing.

-Last man standing
Individuals fight to be the last one standing with a limited amount of lives (ranges from 1-3 lives).

-Agility Drill
This is an easy and intense drill that keeps momentum and focus hand in hand. People must take their time and do their best without mistakes. Remember that this is a speed drill and not a regular obby. Obstacles should be very repetitive as it is to test agility.

-Obby/Custom
At the sword arena, the trainer team is allowed build tools. You can use this to build challenging obbies or your own custom minigames. Be creative. You may not build anything that doesn’t have training value. You should only build things that simulate what could happen in real combat.

*NOTE FOR TEAMS:
Keep teams balanced by skill. Never put people of high skill on one team and people of low skill on the other. Mix them together.

[CUSTOM MINIGAMES]
[IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE 2 OR MORE TRAINERS TO SET UP THE ACTIVITIES BELOW]

Trainings shouldn’t be all about seriousness. There should be some fun parts to it, since clans are meant for fun. Here are some ideas.

Block FFA - This is a sword only minigame. The host must use btools to make one large block in the middle of the training place. Then, everyone must be teleported on top of this block. After a countdown, everyone will begin to swordfight. The block must be randomly resized to make people fall down. If someone dies or falls down, they cannot get back up. Winner is the last person standing.

Colors - Platforms of various different colors are built in the air. When a color is called out, everyone has to get on the block of said color before the time runs out. When the time runs out, the block everyone was standing on previously must be deleted. Anyone who falls down cannot get back up.

Sharks and Minnows - A small arena is built with a wall on each side and two safe zones opposite from each other. In the middle of the arena, there should be a “shark” with reduced walkspeed and a sword. The “minnows” must run from one end to the other when the training host says to,
avoiding the shark.

King of the Hill - Basically FFA with a designated point in the middle of the map that one person must defend to remain the “king of the hill.”

Juggernaut - One person gets extra health depending on the amount of people and the trainees must all work together to kill him/her.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
UNIFORM ENFORCEMENT POLICY:

High ranks must enforce our uniform policy closely. To do this, you must make yourself acquainted with the uniform policy in the APN group guide. If a member is not wearing their uniform, remind them about it, and tell them to read our uniform policy in the group guide.

Reminders:
-Members who are not following our uniform policy are not eligible to receive credits from the event that is being held at that time.
-Refusal by members to wear uniform after 3 reminders can result in a kick (not ban) from the event.
-APN's past uniforms are accepted.
-Custom uniforms are only allowed for Admirals and up.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
ALVERSIAN BLACKLIST:

This list contains all users that have been blacklisted from APN, meaning they are banned from all our places as well as barred from entry into the group. If any of these people send a join request to the group, decline it, and ban them from any APN related places they show up to.
