should clarify - targetting x86_64 (amd64), though would like to know how to make a 32-bit bootloader handle a 64-bit OS.
yes I have to make an OS from the ground up - it looks good for college and it's the only thing I can possibly do to hide a 3.3GPA fairly deep

You start by getting an assembler that can spit out bin files. Actually, you start by not starting because if you have to ask this here and are not smart enough to use actual resources then you won't ever be able to make anything worthwhile.

I know that, I mean like getting it on a iso image.
I have bin files built and fairly strong understanding of higher level languages -
No idea how to get them to a CD. |
