The Blur Effect object that has been newly implemented into Studio requires the player to have a graphics setting of 6 or above to be seen. This effect can be used in many different games to enhance the feel and look.
Not many players use a 6+ graphics setting, so please remove this.

I agree that blurring should happen through all graphic levels.

Logic not found. The reason it's 6+ is to reduce workload on the computer. With this logic level 10 settings should be at level one since "not everyone uses level 10" |

@Zawie If the game relies on the blur as a main game mechanic and the player can't reach 6+ on graphics settings without lagging then it's a game breaking issue. |

@opp
If blur is a core game mechanic and the player lags everytime it comes up it's game breaking. Logic still flawed. I obviously don't know how badly it affects potatoes but chances are ROBLOX does. |

| How about adding a property which when enabled has the blur on all settings, but when disabled it only has it on 6+ settings? That was the blur can be used as a game mechanic for games that want it to be that, while an aesthetic effect for games that do not. |

| You're missing the point. People could effectively 'cheat' if the blur effect is meant to obscure their vision for a purpose to disadvantage them. The logic is not flawed, I'd rather the player lagged. I also can't see it being more demanding, they just did the same for all the different effects where things like sun beams actually do effect frame rate. They didn't take individual effects into account. |

@op
alternative solution: have roblox introduce a method so we can see what graphic levels our players are on (not sure if added or not) but that would fix the "cheating"
I have 9,321 robux.

| Then what's the solution to that? Just kick the player? |

Not everyone has that money.
Damn, I forgot to add my siggy. | But, what if I don’t want a siggy? | Is it logical that I want to go outside? |
