So, in offline conversation I tend to use profanity casually. Sometimes this leaks into ROBLOX chat, which is really embarrasing, and I like that the chat blacklist mostly blocks whatever I said.
The last time I remember swearing happened about a month ago, iirc, but I seem to still be on the "limited vocabulary" mode, where just random words will be filtered out. An example of this is that I complimented something a guy was building in BYM, saying he had "an awesome base with moving parts, a batmobile lookin thing, and a little buggy." He said thanks, but pointed out that most of what I said was hashtags.
I'm content to wait for the chat limit to be revoked, but I'd like to know how long it usually takes. Is it a set time, or do they wait for an appeal? Are they only counting in-game time, or time overall? Any details would be appreciated.
On top of that, if there's any way to have a fully unfiltered chat, either in games I make or from my perspective in other games, I would appreciate it. I've noticed that other people are also on this limited vocabulary mode, and it pretty much kills communication between us. |

That happened to me, I was banned for 3 days for swearing accidentally (well, not on accident, I was mad k) and ever since most of the things I say (like assassin) are hashtagged, some simple phrases that everyone else can say are too.
I've been looking around for a fix, my birthday is the right age for no protected chat, but I've just given up in trying to communicate in ROBLOX games. If anyone knows how to fix it that would be great.

That sucks, Optic.
Guess I could just play on xbox or something. Voice chat probably isn't the easiest thing to filter. |
