*Benson* "Promethus, we have been sent a message that we have an attack near this planet's orbit." Benson reported to his pilot. "Roger that. Activating transmission link to other dropships." He reported back. Benson looked out at the huge object. "This looks terrible!" He said to his squad. |

*Benson* He and all of the other Ice Age pilots hopped into their AMSU and accessed their controls. "Ice Age, drop when I say so. We have a dangerous situation." He expanded his communication link to other AMSUs in the planet. |

(this is about 3 months after the last ARC)
Eric
I had to wake up without warning from my sleep as I hurriedly slipped into my pilot suit. Nigel called me up through the intercom to hurry me up even more. My hair is a mess, but that's not what matters when there is a Leviathan attack to deal with. From the little intel I've received from the Commander, it seems like we're dealing with a space-borne Leviathan, one that is orbiting the planet Florus. Sure, all ALT pilots are trained for space combat in their AMSU simulators, but no one realistically expected a gigantic Leviathan to actually appear in space.
"Nigel, ready for the AMSU drop?" "I'm sure ready Master Sergeant. Here we go."
I hopped into my Neural Link Armor inside my RAIDER and started up the ignition sequence. Suddenly, the NUSS Artemis II shook violently. From the radio chatter I could tell that was the Leviathan's energy beam attack. Panic seems to be spreading among the crew aboard the NUSS Artemis II, but I can't blame them. To be honest, I'm shaking a bit too. |

*Benson* "Wait! The Leviathan is in the air!" Benson realized this. "Everyone drop now and activate your booster pack, our AMSUs are much faster in the air! NUSS Artemis II is damaged!" "Check all parts if they are operational." "All parts operational." Rest said "DROP NOW!" Everyone from Ice Age dropped at the same time from AFS Guardian and AFS Titan. The Leviathan shot a energy beam at NUSS Artemis II as we saw it. "Some of us will have to go inspect the damage. Report back to see the damage." "I along with Alexander will go." Samuel said. They branched off. |

Commander Stanley recovered from the sudden explosion near the NUSS Artemis II's bridge, which managed to take out several turret arrays without a warning. The damage control crew are already making assessments and sending emergency repair robots to their stations. The bridge is a scene of chaos, with so many naval personnel frantically going through the data in order to organize a counter attack.
"Sir, the AMSUs are ready to drop!" "Drop them now Lieutenant Skorj, drop them now!", yelled Commander Stanley.
The drop orders were given to all AMSU pilots, and soon enough the gigantic mecha units all began to approach the gigantic Leviathan in Florus' orbit.
Eric
The orders to drop has been confirmed, and Firebolt Squadron launched into the darkness of space without hesitation. Soon enough, we had our Maneuvering Jets activated and started to make our way towards the Leviathan. A space battle is something that many of us AMSU pilots were not prepared for, and I just hope that the space combat training still kicks in some reflexes when we need them.
"Firebolt 1 to Firebolt 2, how's your RAIDER holding up?" "All signs are nominal as of now. I think we're good Firebolt 1, over."
Tracker managed my air pressure levels within the Neural Link Armor. Sure, the RAIDER's cockpit has its own life support system, but it is better to have a redundancy measure than without. Once Firebolt Squadron neared the Leviathan, we waited for a quick briefing from the Commander.
Commander Stanley
And I though Spera was bad. No, this could be even worse. To lose Florus now to a space-borne Leviathan would be a crippling blow to the ALT, and I'm not going to be the Fast Reaction Fleet Commander to be subject to that embarrassment. Gathering my composure once more, I prepared myself for the short briefing that the AMSU pilots are going to need out there in combat.
"This is Commander Stanley to all ALT AMSU units. The ALT has no intel on the Leviathan's combat capabilities. As a result, do not engage the Leviathan recklessly, or you may be throwing away your life. The Leviathan has been codenamed EagleEye, over and out."
DM
The orbiting Leviathan continued to drop its ordinance of energy bombs onto Florus' surface when it noticed that an unknown intruder appeared from hyperspace. Enraged by the sudden interruption, the Leviathan, EagleEye, immediately retaliated by firing off an intense energy beam towards one of the mechanical enemies.
The Leviathan appeared to vaguely resemble a silhouette of an eagle, but the shape itself was just wrong. Instead of having natural curves for aerodynamic efficiency, the Leviathan had unnerving sharp angles instead. The Leviathan was also feature-less, as it was a simply radiating being. The light that EagleEye let out was strong enough to be blinding if too close. |

*Benson* We heard the message clear. "Alright. Everyone attack from far range until we get full details of the Leviathan. We can get closer but not to close." We moved a bit towards the Leviathan. |

Lee I fly out in space, ready to confront EagleEye. "Commander, Ifrit 10 reporting, this Leviathan is going down." I kick a rock in the air, and punch the rock at EagleEye, making it fly like a comet.

EagleEye immediately countered Ifrit 10's Rock attack with its immensely powerful I-Field, pinging off massive amounts of geometric shapes as a result. The Leviathan did not even have to move when it launched its counter attack, which was a massive gravity wave that sent several AMSUs tumbling in space violently, including Ifrit 10. |

Lee Whoa! How did that happen? I quickly right myself after a few minutes. "Ugh, Ifrit 10 to all AMSU's, I think EagleEye is not extremely aggressive, but extremely powerful and has an insane I-Field." I get my Photon Crusher out (Quick mod, is it ok that the Crusher can destroy weak I-Fields and damage other I Fields?) |

*Benson* "Let's see if our turbocharged drill launcher will work..." Ryan said. He launched the drill towards the Leviathan. The drill started burrowing through the I-Field. "Well I think it is safe to say it will work but it will take a very long time." Ryan was happy at the progress. |

EagleEye deflected the AMSU's drill attack on its I-Field, and fired off a paralyzing energy beam in retaliation. With its attack connecting and temporarily disabling the enemy AMSU, the Leviathan moved in towards the Fast Reaction Fleet. Its attacks are swift and viscious, as it fired off multiple energy beams towards the helpless capital ships. No matter how many railguns the FRF fired towards teh Leviathan, it only served to infuriate the luminous being even more.
Eric
Firebolt Squadron barely recovered from the sudden energy attack when we noticed that the Leviathan was gone from our sight-picture. The radar signature is towards our rear, and as I turned around I was greeted by a scene of pure chaos and destruction among the Fast Reaction Fleet. The NUSS Artemis II is trying to hold off the Leviathan, but I know that these AMSUs are the only real chance to kill that monster.
"This is Firebolt 1 to all friendly AMSU pilots, move in and defend the Fast Reaction Fleet. Notch reference 120", over."
I turned my RAIDER around and boosted towards the raging EagleEye, firing off more Cluster Missiles to get its attention. It seemed to work, as EagleEye snapped its vague head-shape towards my direction and let out a flurry of energy beams. The OESS kicked in to defend my RAIDER, and I quickly maneuvered out of the way to avoid lethal damage. Nigel managed to follow suit and provided some covering fire with his HoloHAC. |

Lee I turn around, and start firing my HoloHAC, then start flying in. Once I get in melee range, I start to whack the Leviathan with my Photon Crusher to annoy it, then kick another comet in it's face. |

I wake up at the sound of my fellow squadron member, Jeremiah, trying to wake me up through the intercoms. There appears to be an attack right now, a sudden one. From what Jeremiah is telling me, it's a space Leviathan. This is new. Rushing out to get ready as soon as possible, can't worry about my appearance right now. There's an attack going on, and I have to hurry. This is definitely a first for us.
"Jeremiah, you ready for the drop?" "You know I am, sir."
I got into the Neural Link Armor of my AMSU and started the thing up, and a few moments later, we drop at the order of our commander. Me and Jeremiah launch into space, we can see the darkness of it all clearly, it's so dark. We have never fought a Leviathan in space before, so this may be a bit of a hassle for us all. Then the both us get the message from Commander Stanley. Eagle Eye huh? Alright. This thing shall go down no matter what.
We've got no intel on this thing so all we can do right now is just attack and hope. Then we get that order from Firebolt's leader to defend the Fast Raction Fleet. We'll do whatever it takes to defend them, alright. I equip my HoloScatter and Jeremiah equips his HoloRanger. It is time to attack, or defend. Whatever it is.
Me and Jeremiah began our attack. My HoloScatter probably won't work at this distance, I need to get closer. I'll go with my Cluster Missiles to attack then. This is a good place for Jeremiah, he's got his HoloRanger which is good for long range shots while I am good for shorter ranges. And so, I begin to target the Leviathan then wait a few seconds and it shoots. I begin to fire off Cluster Missiles at the Leviathan and Jeremiah is sniping it from afar. |

*Benson Suddenly, the AFS Guardian and Titan's laser machine gun and dual laser beams came out of it's hatches. They started firing at EagleEye.
Drones came from both ships in swarms. They had a mini HoloCannon along with Railgun Mounts on the sides and Turbocharged Drills in front of them. They swarmed EagleEye to attempt to confuse him. Some of them were drilling the I-Field. Others were firing at it. They looked like a swarm of bees sting him repeatly.
Benson fired a couple of Ice Railgun rounds at the huge Leviathan. Ryan recovered and fired some more drill pods at EagleEye.

EagleEye promptly caught the incoming comet attack from Ifrit 10, crushing the projectile between its beaks. Soon after, the Leviathan swiped its massive wings at Ifrit 10 in order to knock it out of the way. Naturally, this wasn't the only AMSU attack the Leviathan had to deal with. Multiple Cluster Missiles tracked their way towards EagleEye's area, to which the Leviathan flared up its massive I-Field to literally stop the missiles en-route, turning them around back towards the attacking AMSU. Even the drones that were launched from the AFS Guardian did little to damage EagleEye, as it unleashed a wave of energy that vaporized the drones and temporarily short-circuited nearby ALT capital ships.
Commander Stanley
The NUSS Artemis II was not ready for that EMP attack. How is that Leviathan so powerful? The bridge crew rapidly rerouted the emergency backup power to the life-support system and quickly worked to try and bring back the offensive systems online. We're sitting ducks out here without proper power!
"This is Commander Stanley to all ALT pilots. Many ALT ships have been hit with some sort of EMP attack by EagleEye, and we request some defensive support, over!"
Eric
It takes only one Leviathan to really ruin things for the ALT. First, it was Trenchfloater. Next, it was Moby. Now, it's this stupidly powerful EagleEye that is threatening to undermine our entire Fast Reaction Fleet? Every time we make an easily predictable attack, the Leviathan intelligently counters it and promptly makes a counter-attack. Sure, Firebolt Squadron didn't get affected by the EMP wave only because of our OESS, but I'm not willing to try that again.
"This is Firebolt 1 to Commander Stanley, roger that. We're moving in to support, over."
I signaled Nigel to make his way over to the NUSS Artemis II and set up some defensive position. Lugging out the HoloCannon, I fired off several bursts towards the Leviathan to try and check out what its weak spots may be. Knowing that the I-Field is our biggest concern right now, I started to Sync to the I-Field's frequency.
"Agh!!! My head!!!" "What's wrong Eric?" "Syncing to that thing is only flooding in too much negative thoughts. I thought my mind was going crazy for that brief attempt." "We can't even Sync to that thing?" "Oh, I'm sure we can. But we need to do it simultaneously, or we may end up being unable to handle the load..." |

Ah, crap. The missiles are heading towards me now. Well, better move quickly. Don't want to get hit by those things. Thanks to my immense speed that goes at the insane speed of 35 Mach in space, I manage to dodge it quite easily. That would've been bad if I didn't dodge quick enough. Now, how to damage this thing... It's got that I-Field up, so we can't damage it. And then I get that message for help from the commander.
"Roger, coming to assist." "Roger that, sir. Heading to assist."
Jeremiah had also gotten the message, so he has also decided to go and assist the ships over there. Well, reaching won't be any problem with our immense speeds. We'll be over there in no time. The two of us then start going to the ships that need the help. |

*Benson* Once the two ships were running again using emergency power it was pretty obvious. They had to use the new prototype of a new AMSU.
"Titmius send in Prototype 1." "Roger that."
This prototype was a new type of AMSU. The Mk. 4 WARRIOR. It had the highest attack stat of every AMSU but had low defense and mediocre Maneuverablilty. It was armed with a HAC with Cluster Missiles, Railgun Mounts, and a Photon Blade. But it had 5 modules spots instead of 3. There was no person leading this so it must be automated. The prototype shot some HAC ammo. |

(hey parso, I'm all for the prototype AMSU idea, but I can't let it be a Mk.4. you can make it a heavily modified version of one of the three AMSU types, but the next Mk.4 will be a central plot-point of a future ARC.)
DM
The Leviathan, EagleEye, did not hesitate to thrash through the confused and panicking Fast Reaction Fleet, slamming its body against several capital ships and plowing right through, sending untold amounts of naval crew into cold, deadly space. Seeing this destruction, several ships of the Fast Reaction Fleet began to retaliate with their own barrage of railguns and missiles. Unfortunately for them, EagleEye blocked off their feeble attacks with just a simple swipe of its powerful I-Field, seemingly snorting off whatever the ALT could throw at it.
Eric
The situation is devolving quickly. So many of the ALT's ships are being attacked and being destroyed. The only hope left are the AMSUs that are deployed, but we need to tackle that I-Field first. I reached out to the currently active AMSU pilots engaging EagleEye.
"This is Firebolt 1 to all friendly AMSU units. We need to Sync with EagleEye's I-Field simultaneously on my signal, over. Otherwise, we might be overwhelmed by its mind, over." |
