ROBLOX's legal team would win that battle with ease.

Not really

I mean if you're paying BC to get personal servers you're a choch they're worthless anyhow but that's beside the point

False advertising lawsuits don't yield massive cash payouts when the initial investment isn't large and especially not when only one aspect of the several promised aspects is missing.

You might get a court order to roblox to be reimbursed and they might get a writ to either return personal servers or remove that aspect from their BC privilege list.
But honestly it wouldn't be worth it. Your court and legal fees would overdraft anything you get back from ROBLOX and their reputation wouldn't be horribly scarred, especially considering how they used to offer it and apparently are too lazy to remove it from the list now.
Is it a crime? Yes. Will it be hugely scandalous in court and yield a massive payout to people who bought BC? Probably not.

Big false advertising lawsuits are fraud cases. If a pharm company offers a medicine and they say it cures something like Meningitis but in reality it's just a relabeled ibuprofen then that would be a massive lawsuit and the company would probably have to payout enough to make it bankrupt. That's because not only are they advertising a medicine as something that it isn't but people who have meningitis are spending a lot of money on something they believe will cure them but really has no effect whatsoever.

You don't "need" anything offered by ROBLOX BC to be successful in business or to manage a medical or home/social condition/aspect so that's going to be noted in court, and because of that you'll get your 5.98 a month back and roblox will get a court order that they'll probably just use as motivation to update the site.

But what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They can update the terms and conditions for BC at anytime/revoke benefits, it's right in the ToS.

is it misleading yes
is it a big deal no
will it hold up in court hell no

@unclear
that makes sense too and it only makes ROBLOX's case stronger
forgot to mention that if you agree to a terms of conditions on a site, usually they include a clause where they aren't legally responsible if you get screwed out of something like this. I haven't bothered reading ROBLOX's ToS but I assume that something along the lines of "By agreeing to this you agree that . . . ROBLOX is not legally responsible nor in any way obligated to inform users of changes to subscription benefits such as "Builder's Club"."

Big corporations are targets for lots of lawsuits if they don't cover their moves with extensive ToS's and ToC's. The whole purpose of those terms and conditions is so they don't get constantly sued for dumb things which, without a contracted ToS/ToC, will absolutely hold up in court.

I mean, technically, you could consider VIP servers personal servers, but I don't think those are BC only.

Looking at it clearly it really isn't necessary to try and help them in this case.
As Albert pointed out this is already legally covered in ROBLOX's ToS and even if it wasn't they could easily withstand it in court, losing maybe 50 bucks(or however much money the prosecutor spent on BC) and probably getting a writ to update the list.

When you're a big corporation, you can't afford to have something like this happen without having it legally covered. So when you start up or as soon as you can afford it you hire a very talented lawyer to draw up a protectionary contract that ensures that members/users won't get screwed over but if they are barely slighted in any way they won't have a case.
