I'm 15, and I'm 5'2. And I'm the shortest kid in my school.
My parents told me that sometimes being short is good cause you can fit into more clothes, but everyone is like 10 feet taller than me.
Plus, if you read my other post, I don't even have a masculine voice yet. I sound like a girl. I do have a good singing voice, which I don't mind, but still. :( |

Idek.
My one friend is 17, and he is as tall as I am, and barely has a masculine voice, so I know I'm not the only one. |

Don't worry, man. There is a high possibility you're just late into puberty and if the doctor is correct in saying you won't grow more, don't be sad, afraid or mad that you didn't grow taller. Instead, think of it this way; you're not an average person, you're shorter than most people and make yourself known that way. Instead of being known as the sad short guy, be known as the proudest short guy. Height will not matter much to you once you grow older, instead it will only be a thing that you yourself can choose to think about or not think about. Now, sure, if you're looking for a relationship with a person and maybe this person is not fond of short people, don't be sad, because you can't help this. It is not your fault that you are short, so instead of taking it negatively, take it positively. There are tons of pros and cons with being short, but there are probably more pros in being short than there are pros in being tall.
So, don't worry. Your height will not measure how you will behave or look like. Make the best of your own body. |

I remember hearing that most men don't stop growing until we are in their 20's. I wouldn't take what your doctor said as absolute fact. There's a reason people get second opinions.

I don't really know. I haven't been to the doctor's in awhile.
But I like being short in some ways and having a good singing voice.

The average adult male is 5'9 so I would definitely ask your doctor for rGH recombinant growth hormone which is FDA approved.
In 2003, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the use of rGH for children with idiopathic -- or unexplained -- short stature, without a diagnosed metabolic hormone deficiency.
Push hard for this while you are still 15 and young because it won't work as well as you age. |

| @Rakota, I have a friend who takes rGH since he was around 11 years old and by that time his doctor said it was almost too late. So I would think at the age of 15 it's already too late but might help with perhaps two to three centimeters. But, again, I am not sure. |
