what happened at Sierra was definitely legitimate. I'm not going to lie about it.
What occurred at Sierra was a one time thing, there have been no previous situations where this occurred though you're free to believe what you will.
From FoA base updates, to the SPFlight, to UAF updating their base and adding dragon shout commands (then sequentially spamming them those dragon commands when we are 30 seconds from victory even though SPFlights have never been used on UAF, solely FoA), to what happened at Sierra. The fact is, what happened at Sierra was done in response to UAF updating their base without notifying anyone and reintroducing dragon commands that flung people out of the terminal room. This caused RAT to consecutively lose twice at UAF’s base due to it being spammed (one time 30 seconds away from victory! I’m not even sure why they waited that long.) This was also topped with UAF shutting down servers at Stonecarve just because they wanted to (I was sent this image /HidwRPT and then my head of warfare confirmed UAF had shut down our servers, claiming that we had shut down their servers prior which was simply not true)
What I'm trying to get at is this war (that hasn’t even started yet) from its inception has been foul play, after foul play, after foul play. My wrongful actions were done in response to wrongful actions. I do not feel this is proper justification for my continued participation in such cycle, nor is it for anyone else who is involved in such cycle. I don’t think there is any sort of justification for what occurred -- and scapegoating it onto other people’s actions is not what a proper leader should be doing.
Should I have been the bigger person and not agitated a cycle of foul play? Yeah, I definitely should have.
This was clearly not the moral thing to do. For this, I can say I'm sorry to those affected and to those that may have been disappointed by my actions. This was solely my doing, and no one else was involved.
I did say ingame that I would be making the raid more difficult (I said something along the lines of “UAF has updated their base, abused dragon commands, and shut down our servers -- this raid will not be easy for you”). I’ve notified people ingame why the flight was being used at every Celeste raid where it was used using the :sm command. I did the same thing at Sierra before doing what was shown in the video. I’ll be apologizing to the raiders involved (the leaderboard in the video was down, so from what I could see that is: Lord_Evolution, Jimnize, CeciliaAlcott, GunPuppet, zepenguin4, mikey2337, and The_Wielder) for what happened, it was out of place for me to do.
Thank you for reading! (also, apologizes for how long overdue this is. I’ve been recently very busy with finals and other miscellaneous examinations)
tl;dr: stop! read the whole thing or you won't get it
