| It would be hard to make it actually useful at a clan's fort considering how much people move around in combat nowadays. I think it would be incredibly easy to evade a gun melee in comparison to the length of a linked sword |

V O I D's lancers have the chainsaws. They'r enot useless because you can use them to sneak up on someone.
It's an instant kill so it is for surprising people |

| It doesn't work like a sword it's just a short range raycast for the hit detection |

I'm saying it would be hard to hit someone with it, unless it's an instant kill or stun locks someone like VOID's lancers, I wouldn't see it being that useful.
I've been to forts with gun melee and I don't recall ever actually getting a kill unless it was a team mate of mine |

| We'll see, these only do 25 damage right now but they'll cast a few times towards the direction of the mouse kinda like a burst fire weapon would (loop breaks after hitting a target )`so I think they'd be useful in short range spots |
