How would you make a curve with unions like this? http://prntscr.com/b3dqlk I've tried to many times but it always look weird

An inside curve? Make the outer part of the grille all solid so you are happy with it. Make a CylinderMesh section inside the corner where you want it. Before you negate it Copy it (Ctrl D) and remove the CylinderMesh, then Move it half the distance of the size of your Cylinder towards the center of your grille.
For example; if your cylinder is .2 studs in diameter, move the square Part .1 studs away from the center so it will match exactly.
Then make another square Part the same way and move it half the diameter down. Resize these 2 squares to match the hole size you want to remove from the grille. Negate these Parts as well as any other Parts you want to remove to finish off the center of the grille.
Negate all the internal Parts and Union them with your outer grille. |

I just used a plugin or used a filemesh from someone else from way back. You may wan to try his method though ~I don't need a hair stylist! My pillow gives me a new one every morning~ |
