Oh boy, where to start.
It seemed that roblox has always been fun for me, lots of memories and nice people to know. I've made a lot of friends on this site. Improving my swordfighting, improving my building, lots of time spent on this website, and I don't regret ever spending my time making memories here. I've had fun times playing with my siblings, but you REST pals have helped me make my place in roblox. You've helped me grow as an individual, and helped me learned to be responsible. You've been there for my trainings, and you guys helped me make it fun. Especially fighting beside all of you, where you guys surpassed my expectations of you with your fighting skills, but also with your maturity and teamwork. Bwws, you've helped inspire me to go beyond my limits as a builder and every time I met with you, I forget about the hard times I've had. I'll never forget the times we've spent building those villages of Shima, even if mine did not bear the storm. You selflessly allowed me to learn from you, and you will willing to answer any question I had when it came to building. You are the only person who I have ever been able to call my senpai. Thank you. Blue, thank you for the emotional memories I've spent with you. Either helping you cheer up, or helping I, you were always kind and thankful. You acknowledged my talent where I had been too hard on myself. You were a joy to be with, and I hope you fare well. Dantars, don't think I've forgotten about you buddy. You've spent many hours messing with me as we built hilarious creations, as well as ones of epic proportions. I've known you ever since I took you under my wing with TUAC, where we both grew up together. The memories I've spent with you will be cherished, and I wish to thank you for the fun that we've had. Friends that may have known me on roblox, I thank you for playing with me and making memories with me as we played from game to game. It never really mattered what game we played, as long as you guys were there with me. Any you guys could make a game fun when we were together, and I thank you for being so kind and happy. It's funny really, I've only played roblox for 8 years, which when you think about it is almost half of my life. Whenever you put it write it down and read it, 8 seems like a very little number. But these years have been impacted with active days of logging playtime, and playing with you guys from sunrise to sunset. It's funny, I never would've thought that one could get so attached to someone across the world, but I proved myself wrong. Countless hours building friends, honing my skills, making new friends, making memories...It was such a blast. Sometimes, I hope I can play roblox again like I used to, but sadly the game as changed too much and my joy for it has diminished. The annoying changes, shameless advertising, consistent games with lack of variety, other interest in games. All of these contributing factors caused my definite leaving of this once-great game. But do you remember roblox back in the old days? The nostalgic rpg's, pirate's life, old badge effects, roblox 1.0? It's sad really, the community has changed so much as well to where the player-base is almost entirely young again, and roblox has been losing touch with their veterans, except for only major content creators. To me, I've started to view roblox as a business rather than a community. Their decisions help them earn a profit with little/no regard to the playerbase. And it's sad because their young new audience goes with this type of abuse, because they have not experienced the pleasures and fortunes we had before recent changes to the game. However, to give Roblox the benefit of the doubt, I guess no decision is perfect. I guess I'm somewhat of a Robloxian-Republican. I desire many recent changes to be reverted, and I want more power to be shifted back over to the players, rather than the company. Sorry this is getting quite long, but if you're reading this far it's probably because you care, so thanks. I'm almost done. To rap things up, I just want to share some of my feedback on this impactful game. This might provide new knowledge to you, or give you some nice information for those entering roblox for the first time.
Roblox is a giant social experiment, where individuals are set in a social utopia with semi-instantaneous communication with the ability to converge anytime, and anywhere. There are no rules to what we have to do, and we are free to act however we like, with minor restrictions on forms of communication and expressionism that might offend others. People are judged on their appearance, speech, movement, and actions which can either make or break relationships. Groups are ways for players within this utopia so form a stronger, more active relationship with other players. Groups also enable new forms of communications and relations. Games are platforms for players to meet, have fun, or to practice. This system works well because activity by the players spawns more activity between groups and games, which attracts more players. This cycle of activity is what makes roblox flourish, and what attracts more robloxians to keep on playing.
Now, time for my last message:
Roblox is a culture, embrace it. You share a joy many others celebrate, and that is one thing that the players of Roblox and Roblox itself should protect. The only thing keeping you on this site is the joy it gives, and the moment you find this game fun you leave, as long as it takes for you to find fun in this game again. I joined roblox wanting to be the best swordfighter, the best builder, and Roblox developer. And did I accomplish any of those? No, I did not. These goals that I had dreamed of achieving, fell short due to my desire to reach them all. Possibly if I had focused on only building, I would've joined EBR. Perhaps if I had focused on swordfighting, I would've been desired by the best armies. Perhaps if I had focused on scripting, I would've been a Roblox Developer with my own game on the front page. However, I do not regret the path I chose. The memories I've made and the experience I've created has given me joy from all aspects that roblox had to offer. I loved this game so much, that I kept on coming back for more to play with friends or foe, or to practice on my building or scripting. To me, I'm a winner. I'm glad with the time I've spent on this game, and I think I've learned a lot from it. So I leave you with this;
"Shoot for the stars, and perform the best that you can. But if you do not make it to any star in the galaxy, at least rejoice that you had the strength to get out of orbit."
Best Regards, -Thep

I read the whole thing because my laptop is currently being an ass not allowing me to play games. I don't regret reading it. *sheds a single tear*
