Preamble: The PPT for years has had to wait on a Vice President to host approval votes when the position being approved is of the utmost importance. The VP has a lot on their plate, and them being the only person to be able to host these is silly.
Section 1: The President Pro Tempore, along with the Vice President, shall have the power to bring up an approval at a session.
Needs ⅔s from both houses, so since there are 18 Senators and 16 HoR it needs 12 Senators and 11 HoR to aye, so get voting |

@miner
I've been in the senate for quite some time and this isn't because the VP is inactive it is because the PPT needs to be able to host approvals

I'm going to agree with miner and tell you guys to nay.
The reason I gave the VP the approval power only is because without that the VP is useless in our govt
Don't give a reason to let David to be inactive
If he doesn't do his job we get him impeached, as easy is that.

the VP can still host approval sessions, this just lets the PPT host them as well
this isn't taking away any power in the government that the VP has it is just letting the PPT do approval sessions |

I know but you're allowing the vice president to slack off
Which is unacceptable |

The VP is the President of the Senate
Giving that power to also the PPT removes the POTS being leader of the senate
You give the PPT this power and the VP is a useless rank in this govt. |

giving the ppt power to host approvals isnt removing the VP from the government it lets the PPT be more involved and let he/she do stuff he/she can do irl
