some more context to the song would be nice.
but it has a nice sound to it. it sounds straight from you. and it's got a romantic / depressed feel to it. so it's p good.

| Oh I missed that first part. It's kinda bout me looking at moving to the city(or to Nashville, my fam don't know yet), and how although a lot of people know me here, and a lot of me is invested here, I don't want me to be stuck in such a small town setting, where all of me and my story is remembered only by the people here. But it's also me apologizing to the people that I don't want to leave, but I can't keep living here, cuz I can see that a lot of my friends will be like their parents and just keep living around here. And the part about me driving south till I reach the water(gulf of Mexico) and not coming back till I made it up to my father. My dad always wanted a condo on the gulf, but couldn't cuz of all of us siblings, so it's also about me leaving my parents and getting an earning enough to give him that dream. So it's pretty much about leaving, from different facets of my life, family, friends, people who know me here. |

| Considering all limitations (budget, time, equipment, etc.) it's pretty swell. It's as good as those early Dial-A-Song demos from They Might Be Giants (which when made in an actual studio and recorded with proper instrumentation turned out to be stellar songs.) |
