| I'm trying to build a shop for a game. Would it be easier to have a GUI or a NPC shop? |

| NPC is easier, but GUI requires work with positioning buttons and designing the frames, etc.. but scripting a GUI would be easier if that's what you want. |

What's the difference between scripting a GUI and having a surface GUI? Sorry, I'm kind of a newbie to scripting; I mainly build. Personally, I'd prefer a NPC shop since it looks classier imo but I don't really have any clue how to. |

| SurfaceGUI is a GUI in a Part. For example, you have a part, which has a surfaceGUI on the left side. It's the same thing but in a part basically. A GUI in PlayerGUI/StarterGUI is the GUI in your screen. Not very good at explaining, hopefully you understood lol |

But they really can be equally difficult, and OP should make whatever he wants, not because one is supposedly marginally easier.
But i think the difficulty comes from how good the shop is, not what type it is, which was why it was better advice to tell OP to do whatever he wanted instead of saying one is easier |

Anyways, OP:
I would make a GUI. Now, you can make a surface GUI (GUI on a Part) for a shop too

You think? Once again, we don't want your opinions just because "you think" they are better. OP came here for a simple question, and you downright tell him what he really needs to do.
If you can't answer the question, there is really no need for you to post at all, and then you start being "Aggressive", just because nobody wants to hear your opinion in this thread.
In fact, you've probably got those posts from being "Aggressive", with your cancerous replies. I wonder how many flames wars you have caused, lol. |
