Nintendo recently announced that they are discontinuing the Wii U due to it having low sales and it considered to be a failed system, well, the Wii U is out. possibility for it being on 3DS is the same for others that Roblox want released on, so I'm doing pros and cons for each system, starting out with the Nintendo 3DS families. Please consider that the probability for it being in the NX is the same too, but since it is not released yet, I'll save that pro/con for another day.
What I mean by "Nintendo 3DS families" is systems that are related to the 3DS, such as 3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS, and New 3DS XL. The Nintendo 3DS was made and distributed in 2011 by...Nintendo obviously. More than 2 million systems were sold. The Nintendo 3DS has a 3D option that allows you to play 3DS games in 3D. However, the 3D functionaliy works only depending on the few factors:
How far away you are from the screen Where you view the 3D Screen.
The 3DS also has 2 screens, and is incredibly cheap (depends which 3DS family system you buy)
That's enough of the 3DS, let's get to the pros and the cons:
PRO: 1) dual screens allow players to actually play on the top screen without anything covering up the screen. The inventory, backpack, and menu will be on the bottom screen while the game will be on the top 2) 3D functionality may be a first for ROBLOX. 3D functionality allows players in a game to view said game in a different perspective. For example, if you play Natural Disaster Survival, when you are playing in the Trailer Park map, and a tornado comes, the tornado, and probably almost everything will be in 3D. Again, this will be a first for ROBLOX. 3) Circle pad will be a great use for a lot of games. This is the same as the Xbox One analog stick and thumbstick on mobile devices. It can allow players to walk around 360 degrees. 4) tilt and gyro functionality is a good feature to add in certain games. According to 3DS players, most think that the tilt and gyro functionality is the best out of the system. 5) 3DS exclusive items, just like Xbox an iOS had exclusives, this would fit as gear, clothes, packages, games, etc. 6) it can support Miiverse, for instance, if you want to share a game that you absolutely love, click the Miiverse button and you can share it instantly with a custom message. This makes sharing ROBLOX much easier. 7) Updates and Patches exclusive for 3DS family players on the eShop. These updates will needed to be downloaded in order to play online. So any hacker who wants to hack some games, you can install a patch for the 3DS, so that way, he/she will not hack it no more. Normally, Nintendo would do the system updates for better firmware, which makes it hard to hack, so you are good on the patches, but special updates are recommended. CONS: 1) You (used to) can connect anywhere with Nintendo Zone. The reason this discontinued is because it only limited where the hotspots are, such as fast food restaurants and electronic shops (not saying exact brands or places). Tough break because people can connect anywhere and play ROBLOX if it hadn't discontinued. 2) some players may experience there battery has died, because it kinda has a 30 minutes to 10 hours of battery life (depending on model and brightness) 3) Sometimes Nintendo makes server maintenance, so this normally should be on the pros side but there's one thing: the maintenances normally last from 2 hours to a day.
Conclusion: Nintendo 3DS is an ideal system for ROBLOX. It will deliver many benefits for 3DS users. However, expect some maintenance from time to time.
That's all for the pros and cons, if you want me to review another system, tell me what system in the comments. Bye :) |

| It's a bit sad that the Wii U is getting discontinued soon because that would've been another perfect console but the 3DS IS PERFECT for the next console! Even better than the Wii U as next! |

Oh, I also have another pro for the 3DS: Some Robux can cost play coins, such as 1 Robux can be 10 play coins. You can only get up to 10 Robux per month though. |

The 3DS is not powerful enough. The Xbox one runs it at like ten graphics, but there is still some lag (In my experience) and the 3DS is like 2x - 3x less powerful than the iPad 2 (minimum device requirement for roblox) meaning that it will not even run roblox. Requirements to run roblox is one GB ram, Direct x 9 (Xbox has that. The iOS devices also has that, but it is referred to as metal instead.) and more

| Roblox can make a different version for 3DS so it can run on a 3DS. |

Well ROBLOX can work with a 3DS. It's just that it will take about 2 years for it to work, Nintendo will probably discontinue the 3DS two days after it gets released, since ROBLOX will take up so much battery life on a 3DS, you will need two jumper cables and a friend's car, and I learned the hard way that 3DSes and exploits don't go very well.
I endorse Trump. |

| Wii U does not work because it just crashes every time you get on a game. |

It sounds good, but it's easier said than done.
Plus ROBLOX doesn't decide whether or not it wants to be on Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendo decides that they want ROBLOX on Nintendo 3DS. |

| The specs are so weak. It's better to release on the Wii U instead. Takes much less time. |

ROBLOX Isn't very optimized/efficient so I don't know if a 3DS could handle it...
