I mean I've never been one to exercise routines (I do a lot of heavy lifting and I'm pretty fit for my size/age, but I don't usually go to the gym).
I can do plenty of sit-ups when my feet are hooked or there's something holding them down, but if I try without that, I can't do a single one.
I'm sure it has something to do with my center of gravity or lack of strength in my chest or something.
What do I do

| The only way your exercising you abs/core muscles is with weight on your feet, so your getting worried about nothing. |

Stretch your legs out more and use them like a counter weight.

don't do situp apparently its bad cause its not your like "natural form"
from what i'd know try doing diamond pushups for the chest strength and then for stomache and lower body do running

So I started off with stuff like ab exercises and sit ups was one of them
I had the same problem with you (didnt really read thread but title lol), I just kept doing it and eventually I didn't have to hook my feet on to anything.
Once I got good at them I was able to push myself up by using core only so I didn't have to rely on my feet or legs, or whatever it may be for you. I tensed my stomach when I was doing them and pushing my body on to the ground (feet) and it just helped
Idk if im making sense but if u manage to catch on to what Im saying try it |

Honestly, for doing sit ups, what I do and most others who work out often is either have someone step down on your feet or slide them under something that will hold them down so even if you strain they don't move. The weight you should take and hold on your chest. If you are average maybe take a 20-30 lb weight and hold it as you sit up.
