This will be a very long suggestion, regarding build servers. I will have to post a paragraph at a time.

I AM NOT SUGGESTING TO RETURN BUILD SERVERS!!!!!!

Recently a some-what old ROBLOX feature known as "personal servers" was removed, replaced by Team Create. While personal servers were great to have, Team Create is far better to the personal server platform, with new tools using studio, scripting, etc. The purpose of personal servers for many people, including myself, were much different than building. We needed personal servers because they had one feature that could not be replicated with any type of script, even using data stores. This feature was the ability to do something in-game, then see it save in studio. Now you are most likely thinking that now that we have team create, we can just build in studio and save it there anyway, it's useless to build in-game just for it to save in studio. But did I mention building? No, I did not. I only mentioned the ability to save progress in-game, this had many purposes, not just building.

"Well you can just replicate it with data stores! So this is pointless."

Listen, scripting can't do everything. While it is possible to save progress in-game, then rejoin, and see that progress there again using scripts, you cannot see it in studio; and there is no such script to replicate so.

"How do you know it cannot be done."

I am quite aware of what can be done on ROBLOX and what cannot. While I am 99% sure you cannot save things to studio using scripts, suppose you can unrealistically. It would require complicated scripting far beyond the communities level.

"Just learn scripting , we're not going to make something easier just because you cannot script."

That is very false logic, ROBLOX makes many things more accessible to the community with no (or less) scripting because scripting still requires skill. And most of the things ROBLOX adds that is scriptable, is only scriptable by 0.1% of the community. I am not saying add everything that is scriptable as an update. But in this scenario, it is very unlikely to be scriptable and even so it would be not be useful to 99.9% of the community. Regardless, I am almost certainly positive on the fact that such a feature cannot be recreated with scripting.

I see almost NO reason, for this to not be added. It existed before, but now it is removed.

"It was removed for a reason."

The ability to save progress in-game to studio was not removed for a reason. Personal servers were, and while doing so they removed a feature that is completely irrelevant to personal servers and team create (in-game to studio saving). So there is no reason for this to not be added, do not say it is a waste of time or it is pointless, there are MANY reasons for such a feature.

Reasons
-Role play (save changes in a persistent world where actions have an effect)
-Personal Building Games (save progress, and people who miss build servers)
-Experimental games (testing, development, etc)
-Persistent Universes
-Not having to save everything with Data stores (positions of all parts, sizes, colors, values, just everything)
-One Server Games (should be seperate feature)

The reasons are plentiful. But more importantly, the ability to create anything in ROBLOX, and that means anything that cannot be done by users needs to be added by admins, such as this feature.

My personal use; I used to be part of the Build Server nations community. We were a community of groups that constructed cities using personal servers. We owned our own countries with civil populations. Unlike "RoNations", we developed our cities. They would have a city RP place, while we actually had cities that expanded as population grew, we would have to build more sky scrapers to sustain ourselves, and there was truly a sense of ownership and leadership. It was not just role play, it was more simulation. My personal country, had a very good scripter (myself), and I develoepd an ore generator. So my country had developed a mining industry and mined ores that generated in the ground beneath us. These ores contributed to our country and we literally needed them to create new vehicles (we were forced to by scripts). Such progress would be saved and there was a genuine system of development. Over a period of months cities would expand a lot. This is not the same with RoNations which do not use PBS, they have a studio built city and just RP in it with no simulation or growth.

-----HOW IT WOULD WORK----
1. You would log into the place you wish to be able to save in-game changes to studio.
.
2. You would open/go to Services

3. You would insert (name of feature) into game.

4. You would set Enabled to "true" in its properties.

5. You could set the property of how long a save interval is if you wanted.

6. You would enjoy yourself a nice new ROBLOX feature.

Alternatively you could enable it through configuring the game, like you use to be able to with personal servers.

Notes
-Only allows one running server at a time.
-No VIP servers.

Too Long Didn't Read: ROBLOX needs to add such a feature that allows changes in-game to save to studio because users are not able to replicate this with scripts. Much similar to personal servers.

TLDR Once Against for those who scrolled past it: ROBLOX needs to add such a feature that allows changes in-game to save to studio because users are not able to replicate this with scripts. Much similar to personal servers.

Support. The opposition is invalid because team create does NOT in fact substitute PBS, as its a studio feature, not an ingame.
