except the US couldn't survive the suppression of economic democracy and self-management from a full socialist government, such as Quebec, or the countries you listed.

Why exactly couldn't it survive under a fully socialist government?
I'm not in favor of a fully socialist government, I simply want more socialist policies implemented, in my view, a good mix of both capitalism and socialism is essential, you need them to keep each other in check. |

because it's economic structure and what the people and corporations are used to. Theoretically it could be implemented over a VERY long time though.
