Science will go too far, that's what will happen
Doubt it would work anyways unless they had fresh lab grown brains, but even then the actual surgery for such a procedure could be even more damaging to the body
They'd have to get inside the skull somehow to do that, never mind the fact that lab grown brains will probably be hard to do and shut down just like stem cell research was, and you can't get brains from cadavers because it would have other people's entire lifetimes in it and it would began to decay due to lack of oxygen after death |

A new brain, mind, also means that the person receiving it will have intelligence on par with a newborn child
They won't even remember basically bodily functions, their family, friends, life skills, etc.
