I made the mistake of buying Pokemon Bank, thinking it would be a safe, easy way to transfer Pokemon. I purchased it to get the Regi legendary trio, and I was also hoping to start a new save file while keeping all of my 'Mons. It was after I bought it when I realized it was a total scam and a ripoff, for the following reasons:
-No touchscreen/stylus controls. It all has to be done with the buttons and circle pad. This makes transferring Pokemon very tedious -If your membership expires, your Pokemon are deleted after a set amount of time -Pokemon Bank filters Pokemon with absurd stats or that are impossible shinies. This means event Pokemon from previous games that have absurd stats or are impossible shinies cannot be transferred. Let people have their fun anyways, Nintendo -It makes getting certain event Pokemon a PAID SERVICE. They entice you to buy it with special Hidden Ability events -It has been 2 WHOLE YEARS and Nintendo still has not disclosed how long it takes for your hard-trained Pokemon to be deleted, meaning it could happen anytime -You can't even transfer items in Pokemon Bank!! How stupid is that -You have to download a completely separate app just for transferring Pokemon -your Pokemon are stored in a server, meaning that you risk getting all of your Mons deleted be there an error -Overall transfer/bank process is very clunky, tedious, and not easy
Need I say any more? Pokemon Bank is a blatant ripoff, but sadly it is the only transfer tool. I hope Nintendo fixes it sometime in the future, because as of now it's just plain lazy.
You call this a utopia?!? |

I have hacked pokemon, such as a Shiny Mewtwo with perfect IVs. I could transfer pokemon that once weren't shiny and now are, so lets try it.
Answer: Yes, i can deposit it on the bank, even a hacked shiny hoopa. However, you can't deposit PKMN with EVs of 510 and higher. Also, i had deposited PKMN on the bank while my license had expired and they were still there.
However, i agree with you on everything else. |
