| What type of C++ does ROBLOX use? Microsoft Visual C++ or the real C++? |

This question... what? Why does it even matter anyways?
C++ is a programming language and Visual C++ is an IDE for developing with languages such as C and C++. VC++ contains tools for, amongst others, developing against the .net framework and the Windows API. C++ is a language and Visual C++ is a compiler for that language. |

ROBLOX uses C++ (/w VC90) with many third-party libraries and solutions (include SDL2, FMOD and Qt).

That depends on what you want. The code that they use for game development is in Lua. RBX.Lua to be exact (meaning it is ROBLOX's modification on LUA)
I'm sure that the actual engine has some other language, but there isn't anything I can find. If you can't find it here, try googling it and see if you can come up with anything useful. |
