This is the *suggested* guide for our Generous Misfits that I currently use when handling those in need of ore or wood. If a Generous Misfit does not have a legitimate system, they are recommended to use this, but will not be forced to do so.
As of the current update to Medieval Warfare Reforged:
[ALL PLAYERS]: (members and non-members of our group) may receive any chosen quantity of the following items from Generous Misfits: > Wood > Strong Wood > Stone > Copper > Steel > Gold > Diamond > Bluesteel > Demonite > Mesonite > Neonite > Draconite > Zeonite > Titansteel > Amethyst > Citrine > Midnite > Iridium
[MISFITS ONLY]: (members of our group) should be LIMITED to *TWO* of anything from the following list when first joining the Misfits. How they are helped later on after receiving those two items is up to the Generous Misfit that helps them: > Bloodstone > Quartz > Kaminite > Xionite > Spookinite > Azurite > Candinite
[RARE ITEM POLICIES]: the woods and ores in this list are, as of the current update, very rare. Therefore, Generous Misfits can choose whether or not they would want to give the following items to others. However, if a Generous Misfit has MANY of any of the following items, it is recommended (NOT required) that they donate at least a few to those in need: > Wanwood > Redwood > Hematite > Topaz
[EXTRA RULE]: if someone only has ONE of a certain item left, they can choose to keep it or donate it. They are neither encouraged nor discouraged to donate these single items. It's up to them.
Giving Rules, Regulations, Tips, Etc.: > Remember to check the person's inventory first. If they're hoarding or simply don't need the item, don't bother trying to assist them; they don't need your help. Give your time to someone who needs it.
> Just because you're a Generous Misfit does not mean you cannot receive anything. It just means you're also willing to give back to the community. Feel free to take part in trades or receive items from friends if you still need to craft something better than what you already have.
> Again, when someone first joins, only give them TWO of anything on that second list. Then, have them wait a while before you help them again. We want to spread out our resources for many people- not just a select few.
> Feel comfortable with telling someone "No". If they are rude, aggressive, and/or persistently begging after you've already helped them, feel free to say "No". Even generous people have their limits, and you do too.
> If you feel overwhelmed with trying to help several people at once, try one or several of the following options: 1. Tell them to form a line. Those that aren't in line should be ignored or reminded that there is a line. 2. Tell each person you're not currently working with to "Wait one minute." 3. Take a break from the game. If you're getting really stressed out, come back to MW:R another time. There's no use in doing this if you're not enjoying it.
Q/A FAQ
Q: Why are new members limited to two items? A: So that they don't join the group, take TONS of someone's ores/woods, and then leave the group right after doing so. We want permanent if not semi-permanent members who are interested in giving back to the MW:R community, not greedy folks. However, if it's shown that they're at least semi-trustworthy, how much they're given (later on after waiting) after receiving two items is up to the Generous Misfit(s) that help them.
Q: What if someone leaves our group after receiving stuff? A: Well, there isn't much we can do about that. And while I will probably PM the person asking them why they've left, I won't do anything else to pursue them. However, I will not stop members of mine from pursuing the person if they feel betrayed in a sense. Leaving the group after being helped seems a bit selfish and rude, so I'm not going to stop people from settling issues like that on their own terms.
Q: Is ore/wood trade and giving discussion allowed through the Discord server we have? A: Yes. We have a text and voice channel just for trading and giving discussions. You can work out reasonable and helpful deals with Misfits and Generous Misfits there. The only reason trade is recommended through Discord is mainly so that Generous Misfits can discuss transferring items to one another to help people out. Discords simply helps people communicate quickly out-of-game or across different Roblox servers. For example, one Gen. Misfit has a lot of stuff but no Zeonite to help a player out. He can ask another Gen. Misfit to join the trade text/voice chat to ask them if they have any Zeonite. If they do, they can join the first Gen. Misfit's server and give the Zeonite to them or the person that needs help directly.
