Seems like a growing problem these days cuz kids keep secrets because they don't want to end up getting beat up or worse.
Pretty sure that's adults too. |

| quite useful i should imagine. we've all done silly antics which would be better off away from the ears of those who may decide to take drastic measures. |

| i durstn't say it's weak. it depends on the situation. if you're so intensely angry that you decide to take revenge, that's wholly your issue and perhaps you should tone down your anger. however, if it's a more serious matter such as the covering-up of a murder, then hush-hush is required. |

yup depends on the situation
but pretty much everywhere nowadays you are expected to keep everything secret
it would be "unreasonable" to report a mugging that you saw happen |

expectations aren't exactly reality. but you're right in what you say, and there's no mono-causal answers to give.

Meltdown, snitching means, "telling on someone".

I'm a bitter, selfish person, it all depends on the situation.
If it puts me better off I'll do but if you have awkward cirumstances like the following then you would NEVER snitch.
- Murder / Attacked / Etc - Robbery
On that sidenote, If I saw in a newspaper that a 19yo girl got raaaped and I saw them walking down an alley the night before, I would snitch. Even if he was some big black guy who'd kill me when he got out of prison.

@Jradi I think that's easier said than done for some people.
Some people might say it and some might not because they're afraid of the outcome. |

I'm going to do what is in the best interest of the situation. Regardless if I'm gonna get attacked or not. |
