They would lay prisoners ontop of baby bamboo and it would grow straight through them with no difficulties.
So if you didn't give them the information they wanted you'd be literally impaled by Bamboo. |

in vietnam the made bamboo spikes, covered them with crap, and put em in a pit that way, if you fell into one, you would die from infection |

@Road Would that also of worked as one of those Spring claw traps?
I don't know the official name but they basically tie them to trees and when some triggers them they Spring out and stab you like a claw. |

how does a solid piece of bamboo go straight through a solid human
But that's just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt. Or sugar, whatever you want. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU8HrO7XuiE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-EQJA8Ahac |

@Spartan You severely underestimate how strong bamboo is, it literally stronger than steel.
The top of a bamboo plant is also sharp. |

i think so, ye but the thing is that that'd only be one localized area so it wouldn't be very effective |

| To add onto this, Bamboo grows incredibly fast making it a pretty effective torture weapon because if they don't talk they'll have bamboo growing through them quite fast. |

I'm not even 100% sure why stuff like this interests me, I just find WW2 and war in general fascinating.
By no means do I enjoy war but it happens and the only way to stop it is to know why it happens in the first place. |
