it's recent average price
when someone sells for eh, 100 when the item is 10k, that would be considered an outlier
outliers in normal data gathering are ignored or deleted, because they'd mess up the accuracy of the data
it'd be like asking 10 people how many tacos they eat
you'd get: 10,7,11,9,8,10,10,7,8,25
you'd get rid of the 25 because it would mess up the average of all the numbers
so why aren't outliers eliminated when rap is determined?
