well it really depends on who the contract was made with
If Poorlawn made the contract with UCR as a group, sure this standard applies
If Poorlawn made the contract with the resigned leader, then this standard does not apply
one could say it comes down to technicalities (as shown above), others can argue that it's ethics |

the guns were for ucr so it's obvious that the leader was doing it on the group's behalf
you are also wrong about the standard not applying if it's a resigned individual. accounting rules have something called 'revenue-recognition' which specifies exactly when a business can record the money it was given as revenue rather than prepaid assets. if a person bought a house from your company and died prior to its completion, that money is not yours. |

the guns were made to be used for ucr. the person who spearheaded was the owner of ucr and did so representative of his group.
even if you degrade yourself to lying about who the client was, your argument does not become any stronger as i explained that your actions were unjustified regardless if it was a transaction with a group or an individual. |

wannabet is right "the guns were made to be used for ucr. the person who spearheaded was the owner of ucr and did so representative of his group. "
TRA tried to justify not paying me for my work by saying that I made the deal with a previous commander, when such commander stepped down

everyone in ucr including the person who led the exchange is telling you that those guns were for ucr
although, in case you missed my response to swordmaker, even if it was for him to be used personally (which it most definitely was not) your actions are still wrong |

there's no need for fine print
individual or not your actions are not, you can not consider money for a service to be yours until that service is complete |

not correct*
i trailed off a bit while multi-tasking because the fact that you are even trying to construct a narrative for it where you are correct is hysterical and only further damages the way others are perceiving you |

so are business rules like the revenue recognition principle that puts you in the wrong
there's not a single justifiable aspect for your actions, especially in the world of business. |

how does him quitting relieve you of your responsibilities of making the guns you were paid for.
the narrative doesn't matter really. it's obviously for ucr but regardless the way you put it you're still wrong. |

Wanna,
He sold it to one guy so he can use the guns for UCR.
If UCR wanted it, they would contact Rich for a meeting with the UCR Hi COM to work out a deal. |

if you were paid to make the guns then you are responsible of making those guns
the revenue you made is not yours until the service is done
furthermore as killer mentioned, ucr did contact you about the guns to no avail. there's absolutely not a single (even tiny) justification for your actions. |
