What comes beyond the universe? What is life? What is the universe? What is the equivalent to infinite? |

nothing comes beyond the universe
life has many definitions, but the one that i go with for casual use is an object capable of reproduction
the universe is everything that exists
infinity is used to define something that never ends or has no end (time never ends, but it has an end, we are living at the end) (an object of infinite size has no end)

Outside the universe is probably void. How about this:
If matter can only come from other matter then where did the original matter that the universe is built on come from? |

the universe is a dimension
infinite is everything
nothing is beyond the universe except other universes i guess
life is simply for an organism to spread and reproduce, to survive |

How about this for a headache? If the infinite universe theory is true that means all possibilities exist and have been fulfilled or not fulfilled so there is an infinite amount of carbon copies of you sitting at the computer and an infinite number of carbon copies of you not sitting at the computer. |

nigel, assuming that theory/hypothesis is correct, then if you take any quantifiable space that can be measured, then you will find that all probability will also be quantifiable.
if you take the space of the entire universe, which is infinite in this theory, then all events will also be infinite because the probability of those things is directly proportional to the size that you quantified, which is also infinite.
