So essentially, this post is explaining my concept and recruiting developers. I will explain payment at the end.
If you've ever read the book called Woven, you would understand most of my concept. This is very closely related to Woven.
You're far away in a different world (need to come up with a name), in a kingdom called Avërand, where you are a lonely peasant and work like a normal peasant, not different at all. You live in your house by yourself because your parents have died, your Dad before you were born, and your Mom when you were younger (in the book only the Dad dies). You live in the woods because your Mom always told you not to go to the castle or where the Nobles lived. A festival is coming up that is held annually, but it's where the Nobles live. You are desperate and have always wanted to become a squire, so you attend the festival. A few minutes before the festival starts, a man named Bosh comes to the door and says he's an old friend of your Mom. He gives you a thimble to hold on to and tells you to hold it when you are in a tough situation.
When you and Bosh get to the festival, the princess and all the other royalty comes out, along with the favoured knight of Avërand, Sir Arek. The crowd wasn't very entertained, so they suggest a brawl for Sir Arek to face someone from the crowd. Sir Arek asks if there are any volunteers, and you hear someone shouting your name and feel someone pushing you forward. You then accept the brawl, and you start fighting, suddenly, you get pushed onto the ground by Sir Arek as you are fighting, and so you hold the thimble. A GUI then pops up on your screen, asking what do to. Will you give up or try to get out of the grip? They will both lead to the same ending of the brawl, and then Bosh asks you to follow him. While you are following him, he asks, "Would you like to be a Fabricator or a Knight?"
He will give you info on a Fabricator and Knights, which will help your decision. Fabricators have powers to shapeshift, make illusions, and more. A Knight is, well, a knight. They get a sword and a horse, and a few others.
As a Fabricator or Knight, the story will then continue, not really in the same way as the book. You will have to fight other players and do quests for more money to buy better gear.
I will explain more if people decide to accept the offer.
Payment: My birthday is coming up in about a week, so I will decide the pay. |
